Seeing his expression suddenly change, Sana laughed more and more manically. Her laughter, tragic and unhinged, echoed throughout the office. A chill ran down Jenny's spine as she listened. Glaring fiercely, she snapped arrogantly, "Enrique is naturally my lover!"
"Lover?"
Sana's laughter stopped cold.
Step by step, she approached the desk. Her eyes locked onto his cold, detached face. Her own gaze turned colder, filled with hate. Her lips curled into a twisted smile.
"I see you like to be the mistress of married men?"
"You lunatic!" Jenny's face went white. She jumped away from Enrique, grabbed the ashtray from the table, and hurled it at Sana.
Bang!
It struck Sana square on the forehead.
Her mind went blank. Blood instantly blurred her vision. There was no pain, just a staggering wave of emptiness as she stumbled back two steps.
Enrique sprang up from his chair and rushed toward her. But before he could touch her, she shoved him away with all her strength.
"Don't touch me!"
She screamed.
Blood streamed down her face, covering half of it, yet her wicked grin remained. She looked like a ghost risen from hell.
Jenny froze in shock. She had assumed Sana would dodge. But she didn't. And now she was looking at her, with that same twisted smile.
Jenny began to tremble.
"W-What are you doing?"
She backed away in panic. Behind her was a glass window, slightly ajar.
The more terrified she became, the more delighted Sana seemed.
She bent down, picked up the ashtray, and walked toward Jenny, step by step. Her bloodied face made her smile look even more monstrous.
"Help! Enrique, save me! She's gone mad! Brother Enrique, save me!"
Jenny screamed in terror and tried to run to Enrique, but she only managed two steps before Sana caught her.
Sana had gone mad.
She stared into Jenny's terrified eyes, and as if possessed, she raised the ashtray again, and again, slamming it down without mercy.
Her mind was gone. Her body moved in rage alone.
Why?
Why doesn't Enrique love me?
Why did they do this to me?
She hated it all.
She hated them.
She hated everything.
Fine, then. Let's all die together.
If she was going to fall, she'd take everyone down with her.
Jenny sobbed in pain and panic, but Sana didn't hear a thing.
"Sana, are you insane? You'll kill her like this!"
Enrique grabbed her from behind, trying to pull her away.
But Sana had already lost control. She couldn't hear him. She couldn't see anything. All she felt was the pressure holding her back, and all she wanted was to break free.
"Let me go… let me go… let me go!"
She screamed, her voice raw.
The more she struggled, the tighter Enrique held on.
Seeing her restrained, Jenny gritted her teeth, endured the pain, and crawled back up. She grabbed the ashtray Sana had dropped, and, with a roar, flung it at her.
"I'm going to kill you, you bitch!"
Enrique saw it coming. His heart clenched. But before he could react, the force Sana used to struggle suddenly threw him off balance.
"Let go… Ah—!"
Enrique let her go.
But Sana had pushed too hard.
She stumbled back, straight into the open glass window.
Her back hit the frame, her balance broke, and her body tipped further and further...
Then came the scream.
A scream that tore through the sky.
"Sana!!!"
