"Welcome home Mr and Mrs Edward James, how was your trip?" Mia asked and both couples couldn't help but chuckle at her.
"Come here my darling girl, daddy got you a lot of gifts" Edward told her but she remained on the spot.
"No, am not happy with you both" she told them outrightly
"And why's that" Maria asked
"You didn't tell me you'd be traveling when I was the one who made you not to leave the previous night by stealing the remote. You got back with daddy and you both disappeared the next day" both Edward and Maria was shocked to hear her reprimand them.
"Baby please don't be mad at us, I asked mummy to come with me when my flight was just in twenty minutes. Please forgive daddy this one please" Edward James said as he came down to her level, this child of his is way too smart than her age while on business trip he got a call from her school asking his permission to take her to a higher class than she is but he said they should wait until his return.
"I forgive you because you'll change that rickety rickety car" Mia said pointing at the car she drives in to school. How can she call a Lamborghini Aventador SV a rickety rickety car.
"That's your birthday gift Mia, you can't just_" Maria was saying but Edward stopped her
"It's okay my darling princess daddy will get you another car" Edward told her and she jumped excited running round the luxury living room but Maria wasn't happy with the way Edward handled the girl
"My love don't be mad, she's just a child and that car was her last year birthday gift there are five more cars in the garage I've barely used she can have any of those" Edward told his wife who hasn't said a word to him since their banter with Mia.
"Look honey, I appreciate your efforts and love towards Mia but you can't let her become a spoilt brat, she should understand that you work your ass off each day to aquire all this and she should earn what ever she ask for not dishing it out to your face" Maria told him not happy with how he let Mia gets away with things.
"Come on, she's a child that_" he was saying
"Noooo! She's not a child. Can't you hear how she talks or see how fast she learns? Well I will not accept such way of treatment from you I'd rather have her sent to a boarding school than letting her get away with things easily" Maria said going under the bed covers
Edward sighed then let her be going to his study to finish up some work.
Maria woke up in the early hours the next morning with her intestines out, well not really_ since the night of her intense make out section with her husband she hasn't been herself.
She's been feeling dizzy and nauseous and she noticed her body temperature has changed.
As usual Edward James had left for work just as he told her while their chauffeur drove them back yesterday from the airport; that he'll be having a monthly review meeting with all his managers this morning.
She managed to shower then dressed up for work but couldn't have breakfast as she lost her appetite, thank goodness Edward had assigned a chauffeur to her.
"Ma'am you're glowing" Lila told her boss as she walked into her office.
"Good morning Lila" Maria told her and Lila rolled her eyes
"Am still your boss except you want to be transferred to Edward James" Maria threatened
"What? The dragon Lord, no way" Lila said
"That's my husband you're talking about" Maria pretend to be strict.
"Oh, how soon did I forget that. Three weeks ago you were love sick" she said placing some snacks and tea for her but Maria dashed off into her restroom throwing up.
