For two weeks since Edward James had brought her on his business trip it's been nothing but fun and she's glad she came despite the short notice.
Edward James has been busy with work but he made sure to clear his evenings for her and he also made her assistant Lila bring her work. Well she would have done same anyway just as she's seated right now at the balcony working right now while Edward had gone to work.
Her phone vibrated and she saw a message from her husband.
Ed: hey love what's up
Am pretty good just that I missed you'
She told him and he replied
Ed: I miss you dearly my love, do me a favor by dressing up your pretty self the chauffeur will be there shortly"
How should I dress? She asked to know the occasion
Ed: simple but breathtaking"

She finished her work and sent them to Lila before going in to freshing up. Surprising how she only came with just two piece of clothes but now she got two boxes all thanks to Edward who'll always stop by any female boutique and get her clothes but funny enough he never got her trouser pants even when she saw the one she loves.
In his words " don't make quicky difficult for me" he had told her.
She dressed up in a strapless mid length white gown and a blue sneakers, to compliment her looks she did part of her hair in a ponytail letting down the other half.
She found out his taking her out for lunch when she arrived at the restaurant but Edward James wasn't there yet.
"Hey beautiful" some guy came to her but she just waved at him to be polite.
"You look effortlessly beautiful_ am Patrick but you can call me Pat" he introduced himself but Maria wasn't comfortable as she kept looking around and her phone for her husband.
"Come on damsel, I don't bite and I promise to take care of you_ you know my stallion can't wait to be nourished by your dripping juice. Why don't we grab lunch and go somewhere private baby" the guy Patrick said seductively licking his lips but Maria was irritated and can't wait any longer.
"Don't touch me" Maria said shaking his hands of her
"Hey girl come on, you gonna love me fucking you hard you_" he kept harassing her and she threw her glass of juice at him ruining his looks
"What the fuck you bitch how dare you?" He was going to hit her but Maria beat him to it as she slapped him hard twice across the face. Soon there was little group around them this was the scene Edward saw when he walked in.
"What's going on here?" He asked when he hadn't seen the lady involved
"Boss, am sorry you saw this I'll take care of it" the manager tried to get him away but a voice stopped Edward.
"You didn't respond to his question Mr, tell him what happened" Maria said to the manager
"My love" Edward James called out as he pulled her gently to himself to which surprised everyone and the manager and the guy Patrick was more stunned, it was then he's eyes fell on Maria's ring finger and he saw her ring and he knew he had stepped on the dragons tail.
"Jason what happened here? Why's my wife upset?" Edward James asked his manager who cleared his throat to speak.
"Boss Mr Patrick harassed the lady boss" Jason summarized
"WHAT MY WIFE!" Edward James was mad as he threw punch at Patrick.
"Am deeply sorry president Edward ahhh!" Patrick groaned in pain, he has committed a deadly sin by stepping on the lion's tail he's gonna pay dearly for his sins.
"How dare you son of a bastard with no significant origin misbehave with MY WIFE HA! Do you have a death wish huh?" Edward punched him sending him falling unto the seats then the hard marble floor, Maria gaps she had never seen her husband so mad even the times she was hidding behind the mask and they engaged in physical combat he had never treated her like this.
When she saw he was going to attack him again she held his arm softly massaging on his fist.
Edward closed his eyes and sighed before holding her on the waist indicating to everyone present who she is to him before taking giant steps out of the restaurant.
