Chapter 15 - Chapter 13: Jago's Training

[THE NEXT DAY/THE FOREST OF FENRIS REACH]

In the forest of Fenris Reach, a lush, beautiful, and vibrant land, dense trees lined the area. The gentle wind caused the leaves to sway in the sudden gust of wind.

The leaves danced and whispered in the wind. Beneath them, Werebeast pups emerged one by one from the bushes, their soft fur tails brushing against the leaves as they curiously looked around.

In a group of five, they all wore the same tribal garments that adorned their bodies. Fur-like armor protected their forearms, shins, chests, and thighs, and their attire differed from that of both boys and girls.

Their eyes were all yellow with black slits. One pup sniffed the air and then narrowed his eyes, holding his hand up to stop the other four pups in their tracks. "He's close." The pup spoke, trying his best to be serious as his eyes scanned the area. He took a few more sniffs and then glanced behind him, nodding at the small group of pups behind him. "Let's go. And remember, be quiet." He placed a finger to his lips, imitating a shush gesture.

His untamed black hair cascaded down his back, his pointed black ears twitching and swiveling, straining to catch every faint sound. "Don't let your guard down,"

"Nuix, are you sure this is the way?" A wolf girl with long, wild burgundy hair spoke beside him, her muscles tense, prepared to strike at a moment's notice as her yellow eyes looked around as well. "You know he could be anywhere. I'm pretty sure he's going to try and get the drop on us." She glanced over at Nuix.

"The smell leads this way, Naya," Nuix responded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Just keep your eyes peeled and your head down. Knowing him, he's probably hiding somewhere close. Somewhere where we can't get a good smell on him."

"Yo, what if he's not here?" Another wolf cub approached, taller than both Nuix and Naya. His grey hair is nearly as long as Nuix's, ending at the nape of his neck.

"I'm telling you, Koda, he's here, he's got to be." Nuix glanced behind him. His eyes landed on Koda. "And if we turn our backs, we're good as done," Nuix added.

Koda crossed his arms slightly, looking down at the smaller wolf pup. "Paranoid much," He glanced around, trying to sniff the air as well, but only getting faint scents from his surroundings. "I can't smell him anywhere around here. Maybe you got it wrong. It wouldn't be the first time." He pointed it out.

"Could you stop trying to question me and just listen?" Nuix slightly glared at him before he returned his eyes forward. "Geez, take this seriously; we don't want to be caught off guard." He added as he lowered himself to the ground, preparing himself just in case they were attacked.

"Nuix is right, Koda. Remember what happened to Finn's group last week?" Naya lowered herself in the same manner that Nuix did. "They got cocky, thought they had him figured out. They ended up hanging upside down from tree branches for three hours. WE can't go out like that." She gritted her teeth a bit as Koda looked down at the two of them and rolled his eyes.

"That's because Finn's an idiot who walks into obvious traps. I'm just saying maybe—

"Guys," Another female wolf pup called quietly from behind them. Her long black hair was straight and tied at the end with a blue ribbon as she looked around cautiously. "Right now, we shouldn't be questioning each other. If this were for real, we'd be dead for all the noise that we're making." She warned as she readied herself as well, slightly looking back at Koda. "Koda, just do as he says, and just be ready for anything." She said as a large, heavy-set wolf pup stepped beside her, mimicking her movements.

"Yeah, good call, Tala. Someone's got to shut his loudmouth up. He's going to give us away and make us fail this training." The heavier wolf pup spoke. As he moved into place, his short, messy blonde hair swayed slightly, and Koda looked at him with mild annoyance.

"Kian, you fat ass, what did you—" Koda was cut off as a blue moved past four of the wolf pups and slammed a kick right into Koda's stomach, knocking him out of the forest instantly.

The blur became a tall figure as Koda crashed through branches and dying trees, his body vanishing from the forest into the open.

"What the—" Nuix's words died in his throat as he stared at the figure before them. Standing where Koda had been just moments before was Jago. His golden eyes peered down at the four remaining wolf pups before him. Messy black hair sat atop his head, black ears twitching subtly as his yellow eyes glared down at the pups.

"Jago..." Nuix gritted his teeth as the four pups faced the older Werebeast as he stood there simply staring at them, seemingly unimpressed.

"Four left to go," Jago announced. His voice was calm as he continued to stare at the pups. "And as a courtesy, I'm going to tell you what mistakes you each made as I boot you out of the forest." Jago continued as he held up three fingers. "Koda made three mistakes. The first one was questioning your Orders. You never question the head of the pack during a hunt. As you can see—" Jago gestured to where Koda had flown. "That can get you taken out easily. Second. Not only was he running his mouth, but he clearly took his mind off the task at hand. And third, letting your guard down is a fatal mistake." He narrowed his eyes at the four remaining pups.

"Let's get one thing straight, kiddos, if this were a real fight, you'd all be dead." Jago lowered himself, preparing himself to strike. "But we'll discuss the rest of that after I kick your butts." He stretched his arms out, getting into his fighting pose. "Now, show me what you got." He dared them.

The four remaining pups tensed, their yellow eyes darting between each other and Jago. Nuix's jaw clenched as he processed the harsh lesson, his black ears flattening against his skull.

"Alright, you heard him." Nuix's eyes narrowed in determination. "Spread out! Formation Delta—Now!" He spoke with pride as Naya's body bounced like coiled springs as she shifted to Nuix's left flank, her burgundy hair whipping in the breeze.

"Oh, that's cute; you have little attack names." Jago jokes as he watched Tala quickly flank to Nuix's right.

"Don't hold back," Naya shouted as she got into position. "Make sure you hit him with everything you got."

As the two girls got into position, Kian, despite his bulk, rolled forward with surprising agility, but Jago's golden eyes tracked each movement. His lips curved into a knowing smirk.

The group continued their slow pace around Jago. Their faces were carefully composed, but each of them struggled to conceal their frustration as they inched closer to their target.

"You kids are too cute and predictable. You think spreading out will help when I can smell each of your fear-soaked scents from here?" He inhaled deeply, mockingly. "Nuix—Too much doubt. Naya—Trying too hard to prove herself. Tala-Overthinking every step. And Kian..." His gaze fixed on the heavy-set pup. "You're out..." Jago swiftly pointed forward and charged at Kian, who had no time to react before Jago punched him in the stomach. The heavy-set wolf doubled over, and Jago spun around, delivering a roundhouse kick to Kian's backside, launching him out of the forest to land next to Koda.

"Kian!" Nuix shouted as he watched the display, gritting his teeth. "Damn you." With that, the remaining three charged as both Naya and Tala lunged out in front of Nuix as Naya tried to deliver a wide kick to Jago's head, and Tala tried to sweep his legs.

"Too sloppy, Naya," Jago called out as he dodged Naya's kick with ease. "And Tala—"

He twisted sharply, grabbing her leg, using her own momentum against her. "—never commit to a sweep unless you're certain of the follow-through." With a swift motion, he spun Tala around and released her, sending her tumbling into a cluster of ferns. She rolled gracefully, regaining her footing as she gritted her teeth.

Meanwhile, Naya landed from her failed kick, immediately pivoting herself to launch herself at Jago again, but he was already on top of her, ready to pounce.

"Got you little re—" Before he could finish his sentence, Nuix appeared in front of him and tried a wild haymaker, but Jago dodged to the left and quickly backed away as Nuix bolted towards him.

"Oh," Jago said as he continued to dodge Nuix's relentless attacks. "Look at the fire in you kid," Jago said as he ducked one of Nuix's punches and delivered a hard knee to his stomach, then grabbing him by the back of his neck and tossing him to the ground in front of Naya, who quickly was joined by Tala as they both went to check on Nuix, as he quickly got to his feet.

Nuix spat spit into the dirt, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. His eyes blazed with stubborn determination despite the pain that he was feeling.

"Nuix, you're hurt," Tala said to him.

"I'm fine," Nuix responded, pushing himself fully upright. His breathing was labored but controlled. "He's still playing with us." He growled, eyes narrowing at Jago. "And it doesn't help that you took two of us out already."

"But what can we do?" Naya responded, standing beside him on his left side. "Then we just have to come up with another plan. Just because it's just three of us left, doesn't mean we lost." She gritted her teeth as well.

Jago watched the three remaining pups with interest. Their formation was completely broken up, but their spirits hadn't broken. That was something, at least.

'At least you guys got some heart in you." Jago mocked. "That's the first real fire I've seen from you today, kid. But attacking like that? "He rolled his shoulders, muscles rippling beneath his tribal leather. "That's just another way to get yourself killed."

Naya's burgundy hair whipped as she positioned herself protectively in front of Nuix, her stance lower now, more cautious. Tala's ribbon that tied her hair came loose, her hair falling free as she calculated their next move.

"We need to work together. No more going in alone." Naya whispers as both Nuix and Tala look over at her.

"Yeah, but what do we do?" Tala replied, lowering herself as well, her long hair now draping over her shoulders. "He's more experienced than we are, no matter what we do; he'll just be one step ahead."

Nuix remained fixed on him as he saw Jago get ready, affording them a moment to plan their response. "I think I got an idea," Nuix said as he looked forward, lowering himself slowly.

"Well, please tell me," Naya responded. "Because I'm all ears and I'm really getting tired of getting my butt kicked."

Tala quickly glanced over at Nuix. "Lead and we'll follow," Tala told him as Nuix nodded his head.

"Alright then. Let's do this." Nuix said calmly as he took a deep breath. "Shadow Hunt." Nuix quietly announced the plan, and Naya and Tala smirked as the three wolf pups slowly, while still in their respective stances, backed into the forest. They used their surroundings to conceal themselves, and the last thing Jago saw before they disappeared was the gleam of their yellow eyes.

As Jago's eyes tracked their retreating forms until they vanished into thick undergrowth. The forest suddenly felt different-alive with potential ambush points. His ears twitched, catching the subtle rustle of leaves that could be wind or could be movement.

"Now that's more like it." His voice carried approval despite the challenge ahead as he slowly glanced around him, his head on a swivel. "Using the terrain to your advantage. Working as a pack... I could almost shed a tear for you kids." He closed his eyes briefly, relying on his other senses—three distinct scents—as the three teenage Werebeasts circled Jago.

The scent of the forest filled the air as Nuix sneaked into a wide arc behind him, Naya moving slowly to his right, and Tala mimicking Naya to his left. The veteran Werebeast's muscles tensed as he shifted his stance, ready to strike. His black ears swiveled independently, picking up the rustle of leaves to his left, a disturbance that felt deliberately placed.

"Oh, I see," Jago smirked as another sound could be heard from his right. "Deliberately trying to throw me off." He heard the leaves rustle on his left side. "Figure it would be hard for me to tell where you three are." He heard a twig snap in front of him, but saw nothing as the three kids continued to move.

"Clever little Werebeast. Making noise where you're not, staying silent where you are." His voice carried through the trees, deliberately loud enough for all three to hear. "But you're not in control of this hunt, kids." He lowered himself to the ground, with a devious smirk spreading across his lips. "You're just trying to survive."

Silence followed as three sets of yellow eyes tracked Jago's every movement from the shadows. His casual confidence radiated outward, his senses razor-sharp as he kept his wits about him.

Nuix crept through the underbrush behind Jago, each footstep calculated to avoid the dried leaves that would betray his position. His heart hammered against his ribs, but his breathing remained controlled. To his left, Tala moved like a liquid shadow between the trees, her ribbon long forgotten as she positioned herself for the strike. Naya mirrored her movements on the right, body tightened and ready.

Jago's ears twitched as he caught the faintest whisper of movement—not from where the deliberate sounds had been coming from, but from the spaces between them. His golden eyes gleamed with satisfaction.

"Three... Two... One." He spun suddenly, his hand shooting out to catch what should have been empty air—but found nothing. "What the—"

The actual attack came from directly above as all three pups dropped from the canopy in perfect synchronization, having used the noise as a cover to climb rather than circle.

"Now!" Nuix orders as the three pups descended like hawks, their coordinated strike aimed to overwhelm Jago from an angle he hadn't anticipated.

Jago's eyes widened with genuine surprise—the first crack in his composed demeanor. His reflexes kicked in, but the simultaneous assault from above left him with limited options.

"Well, I'll be damned—" Jago whispers under his breath as Nuix's claws extended as he aimed for Jago's shoulders, while Naya and Tala flanked him on either side.

Their calculated, precise strike, their well-planned timing, their surprise assault from above. For a split second, it looked like their plan to take down Jago might actually work.

But Jago, the season Veteran that he is, smirked at the last second. Instead of trying to dodge or block all three attacks, he dropped into a controlled fall, rolling to his palms, using them to quickly spin around and kick all three pups out of the forest, causing them to land right in front of Koda and Kian.

Naya and Tala landed on top of Nuix as the three groaned in defeat, and the sound of Jago clapping his hands could be heard as he calmly walked out of the forest and into the clearing.

"Not bad, pups. Not bad." He complimented them.

The three pups groaned as they untangled themselves from their heap, dirt and leaves clinging to their clothes. Nuix pushed himself up first, his pride taking the worst of it as he looked down at the ground.

"Damn it... We had him." He cursed as Naya sat up as well.

"Yeah, for like two seconds." She winced as she rolled off Nuix with a frustrated grunt, her burgundy hair now completely disheveled.

Tala sat up slowly, brushing debris from her torn clothing, "I really thought we had him, our timing was perfect, but... He still got us."

Koda looked down at the three pups with his arms crossed. "Welcome to the loser's club. Population: All of us." He spoke, making Kian chuckle at the situation.

"At least you guys lasted longer than I did," Kian added.

"Everybody lasted longer than you did?" Koda joked as Kian looked back at him, lightly punching him in the shoulder.

"What are you talking about? You got eliminated first." Kian responded.

"At least I didn't get tossed out like a useless bag of trash." Koda shot back as the two foreheads pressed against one another, as they both tried to force the other back with their forehead alone.

"Yes, you did!" Kian argued back. "You were the first bag of trash that he threw out of the forest!"

Jago dusted himself off as he casually walked up to the five defeated pups centered in front of him. Despite their failure, there was a small smile on his face as he watched them banter among themselves.

"Alright, Alright, enough whining. You all failed, but some of you failed better than others." His voice cut through their complaints as Nuix looked up at him.

"What does that even mean. How does someone fail better than someone else?" He asked, slightly confused at his statement. "We all got our butts kicked. So, we failed regardless, right?"

Jago looked over at Nuix as that smile remained on his face. "Not quite, young pup," Jago answered him, crossing his arms as he looked back at the entire group. "What I mean is there are some things that you did today that showed promise, and there were things you did today," He paused as he closed his eyes for a moment before reopening them.

"That would have gotten you killed. "He uncrossed his arms as the pups' attention was fixed on him, as he pointed at Koda first. "Koda—questioning orders in the field—dead. Kian—Too slow to react—dead. And you three—" His gaze swept over Nuix, Naya, and Tala. "Good coordination, using the environment to your advantage; actually, thinking as a pack, great job; but you telegraphed your intentions the moment you started making deliberate noise. If it were a knight of the Order, you would have been gutted before you reached the trees." He kneeled in front of them, squatting so that he was eye level with most of the pups.

"Remember, there are no rules on the battlefield." His voice took on a serious tone. "When you're in an actual battle, you need to listen and trust in your leader. "Jago stated as he looked over the group. "Don't attack by yourself, and most importantly, think and move like a pack. Your trust in each other should be so solid that you don't even need to communicate with words. You should be able to tell what the other is thinking just by looks alone." Jago instructed.

"Can you and Faelan do that?" Tala asked, looking up at her teacher.

Jago's golden eyes softened slightly at Tala's question, a hint of something deeper flickering across his weathered features. He was quiet for a long moment, as if weighing how much to reveal.

"Faelan and I..." He paused, his voice taking on a more reflective tone. "We've been through hell together. Fighting side by side, we had each other's backs through even the toughest times. We've argued and disagreed on many things, including how we both handled difficult situations from time to time. "He continued, running his hand through his dark hair.

"We've been through more battles than you pups have had hot meals." He joked. "When you've bled together, fought against impossible odds, saved each other's lives more times than you can count..." His voice trailed off as he stood back up. "Yeah, we can read each other like an open book. Something that doesn't happen overnight." He explained.

The pups exchanged glances, sensing there was more to the story than Jago was letting on.

"How long did it take you two to get like that?" Naya asked. "You know, to be able to tell what the other is thinking?"

Jago looked over at her and gave a slight chuckle. "Years, little Naya; years. Like I said, it isn't something that happens overnight. We've failed a lot, made a lot of mistakes. Lots of close calls. "His tone grew more serious again. "But we had a lot of victories, built that bond to where we can trust without doubt. You lot barely trust yourselves, let alone each other.

The weight of Jago's words settled over the group like a heavy blanket. Nuix shifted uncomfortably, dirt still clinging to his torn wrist gear as he processed what their instructor had told them.

"So, what you're saying is...we're screwed if we get into a real fight?" Nuix asked him.

"Pretty much," Jago's honesty hit like a real slap. "To be honest, Kid, if the Order showed up right now, I'd be digging five graves before sunset." His golden eyes looked over each of them.

Koda kicked at a clump of dirt, his earlier bravado completely deflated. "Great, so we're basically useless."

"No. You're raw. There's a difference." He crouched down again, meeting their eyes. "Raw steel can be forged into a blade. Just like a novice can be shaped into a fighter. It just takes time." He smirked as he squeezed his fingers together. "And a liiittttlleee bit of pressure.'

Nuix clenched his fists, frustration evident in his eyes. "Then teach us, show us how to fight just like you and Faelan do." He stood up, fists balled as he looked up at his teacher.

Jago looked up at him before standing, placing a hand on top of his head. "Patience, kid." Jago's smirk returns. "First, you need to learn to crawl before you can run. And right now? You're all still face-first in the dirt." He rubbed his head gently before returning his gaze to the group. "Tomorrow, we start over. And this time, I won't be going easy on you. We're going to keep at it until you guys can learn to act like a—"

Suddenly, Jago narrowed his eyes, scanning the area, and the children watched, perplexed, as he paused his speech to softly sniff the air.

'Hold on a second..." Jago spoke as he gently lifted his hand off Nuix's head and looked around, his ears perked up as if listening for something. "Huh? That's weird." Jago continued as he gently moved his head from left to right.

The pups immediately tensed, their earlier exhaustion forgotten as they watched Jago's demeanor shift. His casual confidence transformed into razor-sharp awareness; every muscle in his body on high alert.

"What is it?" Tala whispers, her voice barely audible as she instinctively moves closer to Naya and Nuix.

Jago held up a hand in silence, his eyes scanning the tree line. The forest around them had gone unnaturally quiet—no birdsong, no rustling of small creatures in the underbrush. Even the wind seemed to have stilled.

"Something's not right," Jago mutters, his voice dropping to a dangerous growl. "This scent. It's not natural. Not an animal." His nostrils flared as he took another deep breath. "It's not metal, or oil... It's not the Order..." He gritted his teeth.

Kian shifted nervously beside Koda, both boys exchanging worried glances. The playful atmosphere from moments before had completely vanished.

"Should we run?" Naya asked, looking between Jago and the surrounding forest.

"No sudden movements," Jago commanded quietly, "Stay behind me. All of you." He instructed.

Without being told a second time, the pups huddled behind their instructor as they all looked at a distinct part of the forest, trying to catch sight of what Jago was sensing.

A few moments passed, and nothing happened. The group continued to turn their heads and eyes, trying to see what was surrounding them.

The bushes in front of Jago and the group began to violently shake, the air filling with a terrifying, otherworldly howl, causing his golden eyes to narrow as a disoriented, gray paw emerged, followed by another, and finally its head. Its red eyes glared hungrily at the group in front of it.

With a wolf's head, the dark gray creature stumbled from the forest, its legs and arms moving in a way that didn't seem natural.

Jago growled lightly as he caught a good look at the creature that came out of hiding. "Blight Beast." He muttered under his breath as more unnaturally created wolves stepped out of the forest, surrounding them.

The creatures moved with jerky, unnatural gaits—their limbs bending at wrong angles, their red eyes burning with intelligence that felt both alien and malevolent. Saliva dripped from their twisted maws as they formed a loose circle around Jago and the pups.

"Stay calm," Jago instructed as his eyes watched the Blight Beast circle them, his body shifting into a tight combat stance." These things hunt with fear as much as flesh."

Nuix felt his heart hammering against his ribs as he watched more of the seemingly corrupted wolves emerging from the tree line. Their gray fur seemed too writhed and shifted like smoke, their bodies glitching every time they took a step.

"What…what are they?" Koda whispered, fear evident in his voice.

"Blight beast.' Jago answered in a low growl. "Something that shouldn't exist in this world."

The largest of the Blight Beasts, its jaw hanging at an unnatural angle, let out another bone-chilling howl that made the pups' ears ring. Saliva dripped from its mouth, sizzling when it hit the forest floor.

"When I give the word," Jago whispered. "You run straight back to camp. Don't look back, don't try to help. Just run." He told them as the larger of the blight beasts lowered itself, as if readying to attack.

"What? Are you crazy?" Nuix spoke up. "You can't fight all these things; they'll tear you apart." He added.

"Hey, what did I just tell you about listening to orders?" Jago returned without looking back at him. "Right now, is not the time to argue; right now, it is about getting out of this situation and making it back home alive." Jago continued as he kept his eyes locked on the Blight Beast in front of him.

"Nuix is right," Naya spoke out. "We can't just leave you here. What if something happens to you?"

"You can and you will." Jago shot back. "Besides, you kids would just get in my way." He added as he continued to glare at the predators surrounding them.

"But Jago—" Koda took his turn to speak. "We can—"

"Listen to me and listen to me good pups, I'm giving you your orders," Jago growled. "When I give the word, you run. Run as fast as you can and make it back to camp. Tell Faelan what's going on. Do I make myself clear? Don't make me have to repeat it twice."

The Blight Beasts began to close their circle, their unnatural growls reverberating through the clearing. Tala's hands curled into a fist, but her arms were shaking from fear itself.

"But—" She started.

"Clear," Nuix interrupted through gritted teeth, his voice heavy and reluctant. "But you better not die on us." He looked up at Jago. "I mean it…" He added as Jago didn't speak back, just simply nodded his head as the other pups returned the nods, understanding the gravity of Jago's tone even as their hearts screamed against abandoning their instructor.

The largest Blight Beast took a step forward, its malformed paw leaving a smoking print in the earth. Its red eyes were fixed on Jago with intelligence, as if recognizing him as the primary threat.

"Good." Jago remained in his stance. "Remember what I taught you about moving as a pack. Stay together, watch each other's backs."

The creature's jaw unhinged with a wet, tearing sound, revealing rows of blackened teeth. Dark ichor dripped from its maw as it prepared to lunge.

But before it could. Two of the Blight beasts behind the group jumped towards them, attacking without warning.

"RUN!" Jago screamed as he leaped up, sensing the attack coming as he quickly appeared in front of the two otherworldly wolves, knocking both to the side, allowing a small gap between the blight beast circled formation.

The pups didn't hesitate. Nuix grabbed Tala's hand and yanked her forward as Naya shoved both Koda and Kian toward the gap Jago had created. Their feet pounded against the forest floor, branches whipping at their faces as they sprinted through the narrow opening.

Behind them, the sound of battle erupted—Jago's roar mixing with the unnatural shrieks of the Blight Beasts. The wet sound of claws meeting flesh, the crack of bones, the sizzle of corrupted blood hitting the earth.

"Don't look back!" Nuix shouted, though his own voice cracked with the effort of not turning around. His lungs burned as they crashed through the underbrush, Tala stumbling beside him but refusing to let go of his hand.

Kian's breathing came in ragged gasps. "The camp—how far?"

"Too far," Naya panted, her burgundy hair streaming behind her as she leaped over a fallen log. "But we have to keep going. We have to tell Faelan."

The howls behind them grew more distant, but new sounds joined the chaos-more otherworldly shrieks, as if additional Blight Beasts were converging on their location.

The forest itself seemed to recoil from the corruption, leaves withering as the creatures passed beneath them.

"Faelan's going to kill us for leaving Jago," Koda wheezed.

While the pups scurried back to camp, Jago, now alone with the Blight Beasts, stood his ground. He let out a delighted snicker, even as the Blight Beasts continued to circle him.

"Well, now you didn't think I was going to let you attack a bunch of kids, did you?" He continued to smirk as he sharpened his claws. "It's a good thing it's just me and you guys now, I didn't want the kids getting in the way of the fun we're about to have." He crouched down a bit as a faint yellow aura began to surround his body.

The massive Blight Beast's red eyes focused, and it watched Jago's posture change. What had been protective caution moments before transformed into something far more dangerous. The corrupted wolves began to pace restlessly, their instincts warning them that their prey had just become the hunter.

"That's right," Jago's voice dropped to a rumbling growl as the golden aura intensified around him. "You can smell it now, can't you? The difference between you…and a real killer." As the Aura grew stronger, his black hair began to flow, his golden eyes narrowing as he glanced at the largest Blight Beast before him, a smirk playing on his lips before he said.

"Unleash."
