As Crow walked down the crystalline corridor of his flying fortress, the soft hum of mana engines echoed around him. Gruk'Tharn had gone to oversee the new orc battalion, leaving Crow finally—briefly—alone.
But only for a moment.
Tap. Tap.
He turned.
Standing there, arms crossed and pouting in perfect synchronization, were Lyravex and Rose. Lyravex's wings shimmered faintly with residual light, while Rose clutched her oversized weapon like a comfort plush.
"Master," Lyravex said, voice like velvet, "You've been ignoring me."
"Me too," Rose added, stepping closer, her cheeks pink. "Don't I deserve some attention after posting that picture?"
Crow stared at them both. Two powerful SSS-ranked heroines—pouting like children denied candy.
Lyravex leaned in, eyes gleaming. "Just a few head pats... or maybe a lap pillow?"
Rose clung to his arm suddenly, burying her cheek against his sleeve. "I'll be a good girl, promise..."
Crow sighed, raising one hand.
"One at a time. And no fighting."
Both girls lit up, eyes gleaming.
This… was going to take a while.
