Chapter Two Hundred and Sixty-Seven – "Tension of the Divine"
Despite Sylvanna's intimidating display, Rose and Lyravex lay sprawled on the floor behind her, eyes wide—and still drooling.
Rose wiped her mouth lazily, gazing up at Crow from behind Sylvanna's legs. "Mmm… Master's voice when he gets serious… it's so hot."
Lyravex, undeterred, rested her chin on her hand, smirking despite the divine pressure pushing against her shoulders. "I don't care if a goddess tries to smite me… I just want head pats."
Sylvanna's eye twitched.
Crow leaned back into his throne with a sigh of someone who'd long given up trying to control the chaos.
He held out a hand. "Stop drooling on my floor."
Both girls, simultaneously, scooted forward just enough to be visible past Sylvanna's legs, giving him wide, expectant, and dangerously obsessed eyes.
"Master…" Rose purred.
"Head pats, or I'm licking your hand again," Lyravex threatened sweetly.
Sylvanna's divine aura flared—but this time, her expression was twitching with something between pride, anger, and dangerously restrained possessiveness.
Crow muttered under his breath, "I need to seal emotions next time…"
And somewhere, far above, even the system was confused whether this was a war… or a romance.
