Chapter Two Hundred and Sixty – "Tension in the Throne Room"
The vast war chamber of Crow's floating fortress dimmed as Gruk'Tharn, Warlord of the Red Tide, stepped forward. His massive axe gleamed with fresh bloodlust. Muscles coiled like iron cables beneath jagged red armor.
He looked at Rose and Lyravex, who stood at Crow's side—both flushed with jealousy, both staring daggers at each other and the towering orc.
Gruk'Tharn lowered his head to Crow's ear, voice deep and gravel-edged.
"These two. Jealous. Distracting. Would you like me to remove them… permanently?"
The room went silent.
Rose flinched.
Lyravex's hand twitched toward her weapon.
Crow didn't speak immediately. His gaze flickered with an unreadable calm.
But the pressure in the air grew heavy.
Rose narrowed her eyes.
Lyravex's aura surged faintly.
The warlord's grip on his axe tightened.
"Just say the word."
Crow turned slowly.
And smiled.
