Chapter Two Hundred and Fifty-Five – "Three Under One Roof"
Crow sighed as he stepped into the quiet apartment. The moment he closed the door, Lyravex wrapped her arms around him from behind.
"You're late, Master," she whispered against his back, nuzzling into him.
He didn't flinch anymore—he was used to it now. Ever since the Divine Contract had bled into the real world and bound them together, they'd been living under the same roof. She insisted it was only logical. He stopped arguing when she started cooking for him.
As he reached for the remote, a knock rang out.
Crow tensed. Lyravex didn't.
She grinned. "Oh, that's probably her."
He opened the door—
"Found you," Rose said sweetly, stepping inside with her duffel bag, a collar in her hand, and hearts practically glowing in her eyes.
"How...?"
She simply smiled and looked up at him.
"I told you I was your good girl. I'll always find my master."
Crow's face darkened with dread. Lyravex just sighed, already glaring.
Three powerful forces. One apartment.
And not enough head pats to go around.
