Far away in Crow's private territory—his domain of legends—four pairs of glowing, divine eyes narrowed in unison.
Sylvanna, the proud Elven Primordial God, clenched her staff with enough force to crack stone. "He's giving them head pats again…"
Liana folded her arms, lips tight in a pout. "I was the first to kiss him. I deserve more attention."
Valeria, the fire mage whose mere presence warped the air around her, flared with barely contained jealousy. "He hasn't even looked at me today."
Elaria, the clingy elf who had practically become a permanent fixture at Crow's side, slammed a cushion onto the floor and shouted, "I swear if Rose calls him 'Master' one more time—!"
The Primordial Dragon Xar'Zenth opened one glowing eye from its curled position atop a crystalline mountain. It rumbled in its sleep, "Mortals are exhausting…"
Meanwhile, in the stream, Rose had curled up on Crow's lap like a loyal pet. Lyravex had claimed his other side, her fingers tangled in his cloak possessively.
Crow sighed again.
The storm wasn't over. Not by a long shot.
