The atmosphere outside Novice Village had grown tense. Dozens of players loitered around the gates, pretending to mind their own business, but their ears were sharply tuned to one figure:
Rose, the mysterious level 18 SSS-rank warrior.
She hadn't moved much, but the weight of her presence was undeniable. Her glowing blade rested against her armored leg, and her crimson eyes stared out into the horizon.
Then, she finally spoke—her voice low but clear, slicing through the idle chatter like a blade through silk.
"Where's Master?"
Silence fell. Players nearby exchanged wide-eyed glances.
"…Did she just say 'Master'?"
"Who the hell is her master!?"
"I thought she was a solo player…?"
"She's SSS-rank! Who could be strong enough to deserve that title from her?!"
As rumors ignited and chat channels lit up, players started speculating wildly. Theories ranged from high-ranking NPCs to mysterious hidden figures.
But no one—no one—guessed the truth.

Crow.
