Crow stepped through the shimmering veil of his pocket dimension, the air around him shifting instantly as the sounds and scent of the outside world returned. The skies above were clouded with mist, a soft wind brushing past his cloak.
Behind him, the swirling gate sealed shut—leaving behind hundreds of powerful beings, all under his command, all waiting.
He glanced around the landscape: it was quiet. Too quiet.
The world hadn't yet caught up to the weight he carried.
"Let's see who dares to move next…" he muttered, eyes narrowing as he began walking toward the next destination—where secrets and chaos no doubt awaited.
