As soon as Crow spoke, the air in the chamber grew heavier—not with magic, but with defiance.
"You're not going alone," Liana said firmly, stepping between him and the door. Her arms crossed beneath her chest, expression unwavering.
"You're our master," Sylvanna added, her emerald eyes sharp. "But that doesn't mean we'll let you throw yourself into danger alone."
Valeria nodded once. "We're bound to you, not just by contract... but by choice."
Elyndra stepped forward, wings faintly glowing. "If you move alone, we follow. End of discussion."
Crow met their gazes, one by one. He could see the fire, the loyalty—and the fierce possessiveness—in each of them.
He sighed. Again.
"…Fine. You're all coming."
