As the morning sun began to rise, warm golden light poured into the grand chamber of Crow's castle. Crow stirred slightly, still half-asleep when he felt a gentle weight press against him.
Lyravex, cheeks faintly flushed, had curled up beside him, her arms wrapped tightly around his arm. She rested her head on his shoulder, clinging to him like a possessive shadow.
"You're mine, master," she murmured softly, eyes half-lidded but intense. "You saved me… I won't let anyone else take you."
Crow blinked awake slowly, not surprised—just resigned. Another day, another loyal companion crossing the line between devotion and obsession.
Somewhere else in the castle, a sharp edge of killing intent briefly flickered. Sasha had woken up.
