Chapter One Hundred and Seventy-Two
Beldra wrapped both arms around Crow's waist, her face pressed firmly into his chest. "Mine," she mumbled, voice muffled but stubborn.
Crow stood still, his usual composure faltering as he glanced at the others. "Beldra. We're in the middle of a mission."
"Don't care," she replied immediately. "You're warm. And you gave me head pats."
Behind them, Liana's eye twitched.
"She's doing it again," Liana hissed.
Sylvanna's grip on her staff tightened. "We should've never let her come with us."
Valeria just gave an amused smile, though her eyes flickered with thinly veiled irritation. "Should we… remove her?"
"No fighting," Crow said quickly, though Beldra's grip somehow grew tighter.
"You're not getting rid of me," Beldra said. "I'm staying right here."
Crow looked at the chaos forming in front of him and muttered, "...I miss when my biggest problem was undead armies."
