The air folded inward. A pulse of compressed gravity erupted—silent, clean, and absolute. In an instant, Crow and Thalgrun vanished from their location, reappearing deep beneath a range of volcanic mountains where the second Primordial Dwarf resided.
Ash and molten rock hung in the air like mist, the very earth humming with ancient smithing energy.
