Chapter One Hundred and Thirteen
A sudden chime echoed through every player's interface across the globe—shrill, sharp, impossible to ignore.
[SERVER ANNOUNCEMENT — GLOBAL NOTICE]
"Player Crow has completed an undisclosed prerequisite."
"Warning: System recalibration pending... event parameters unchanged."
For several seconds, nothing moved.
Not monsters.
Not NPCs.
Not even players.
Chat exploded.
[World Chat]
Player_StarbornX: WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO NOW?!
DarkRook: Is that the guy with the Orc Lord??
AshenFang: No bro, Crow's the guy who caused the leaderboard to reset twice!
GodsBlessMe: System recalibration?! Are we gonna lose our characters?!
SilentKnight: ...Crow is about to break the damn game, isn't he?
Back in the sky city above the fractured realms, Crow stood calmly, reading the announcement with mild interest. Astrid and Liana stood behind him, still trying to gauge his thoughts. His divine units were silent, sensing the shift in the code of the world itself.
"No events changed," Crow muttered, almost to himself. "Then the world isn't ready to react to what I've become."
Xar'Zenth, the Primordial Dragon, hovered behind him, timeless and untouched by mortal concern.
"Your presence is known now," the dragon rumbled. "The system felt you breach its law."
"Let them feel it," Crow said, smirking. "This is just the beginning."
No quests had changed. No updates were triggered. But everyone could sense it:
The world had noticed Crow.
And it would never forget him again.
