Chapter One Hundred and Six
As the Skyhold's walls continued to rise, Crow stood within his strategy chamber, staring at a slowly rotating celestial map—a projection of hidden entities, marked in brilliant threads of fate.
His fingers paused over one glowing point near the Fractured Expanse, a shattered realm sealed away since the early cycles of the game.
He muttered under his breath, "The Primordial Seal… It should've broken by now."
Then it clicked—the Primordial God-Rank Dragon.
Its name echoed like ancient thunder in his memory:
Vael'theron, the Wyrm of Infinity.
Elements: Space, Reality, and Time.
No player had ever reached it in his past life. The dragon was said to exist outside the flow of all timelines, guarded by temporal anomalies, impossible terrain, and world-warping distortions.
Crow opened his system log and whispered:
"Search: Fragment of Infinity — required to unlock Vael'theron's sanctum."
One result pinged. A hidden questline, long forgotten by most. It began with a single relic buried beneath the ruins of the Eternal Observatory, a place guarded by level 300,000 temporal shades.
Even to Crow, the challenge was ridiculous—but not impossible.
He turned to Elysia, his Death Warden, and Lilith, his newly acquired demon general.
"Begin preparations. We're opening the gate to the Observatory."
Lilith's crimson eyes gleamed.
"You seek to enslave time itself, master?"
Crow didn't smile.
"No. I seek to rule beyond it."
The chamber pulsed with a wave of temporal distortion as a new sub-quest appeared:
[Quest Unlocked: Legacy of the Wyrm Beyond Time]
Objective: Retrieve the Fragment of Infinity. (0/3)
Warning: Time loops and paradox enemies active. Survival rate: <1%.
Crow closed the prompt and summoned his Eclipse Dragon and all divine casters.
They would rip through time if they had to.
And when Vael'theron knelt—Crow would no longer be a god. He would be eternal.
