And then utilizing that to 'encourage' that particular person to do 'what needed to be done'…
In general, according to Itvasme's life experiences, Wanting people to do the right things - that is, what one wanted them to do - out of 'the goodness of their heart' - was extremely… unreliable.
Even if that thing was 'clearly' good for them…!
It seemed that perversely, when people were obligated or felt pressure to do something, even if they had agreed to it, there was a strong tendency for them to flake, renege, or otherwise become uncooperative or unreliable, flying in the face of logic and common sense. In fact, people would often do the very opposite thing to what they were meant to do, because decisions and actions were not necessarily made logically or perfectly… but very often, emotionally…
For example, let's say for example you wanted someone to do you a favour. From Itvasme's Point of View, this was a very worthwhile thing to do. But often they would actually not do it if they felt expectations that they were not capable of handling.
Instead, people would usually take the path of least resistance, particularly if they were running low on energy.
What was the greatest motivator, according to the Arts of Dark Rizz ?
As a veteran reader of this novel, of course you would know the answer - that this was the avoidance of pain - up to and including death, although, as they had discovered from historical studies, there were in fact many things far worse than death.
When one could use force, why give room for recourse?!
There was only one problem.
Sally was too OP!!!
Itvasme actually doubted whether she could in fact, overpower Sally or otherwise coerce her into giving up the Blueprint.
Moreover, even though emotions were an influencing factor, Itvasme had the feeling that Sally wouldn't be as easy to influence - especially considering her status and training as the Future Ice Queen of the Anti-Rizz Realm…
Accordingly. In Itvasme's own pragmatic estimation, she needed leverage…
