Accordingly, Desmond didn't have much of a chance.
Ly Ly had presented herself as the "intern-secretary" in charge of running the Dark Rizzard Alliance's Egg Bank Scheme.
In the previous correspondence, she had conveyed an aura that was, in keeping with her deep and shallow, GASP-oriented strategy, extremely attractive, immediately hooking in Desmond with her professional, effortlessly and artfully contrived naïveté.
"D-Desmond… your p-lan… it's so big and bold!!!"
She gushed, whilst inwardly rolling her eyes.
"Yes of course." Desmond waved off the words as if all this didn't need to be said.
Desmond was a man who craved power and in particular, was addicted to the feeling that he was the orchestrator of greatness, and so the Dark Rizzard's plan was simple - they would use Ly Ly as bait - the "friendly gesture" that would milk Desmond for maximal value.
Accordingly, Ly Ly began to Generate Awareness - that the Dark Rizzards, and she herself, they were just mere instruments to serve his greatness… using subtle wordings and language that made him feel in control, hooking him in.
"Desmond, thank you for letting us become a part of your plan… I think it's wonderful that you are spreading your seeds so that you could make the world a better place…"
Was that too much?!
Evidently not, as Desmond acknowledged it with a gracious smile.
"My dear Ly Ly, I'm so glad you understand…"
Next was the Suggest part…
"Sometimes I think that, as your great plan continues, those women are really quite lucky… after all, they've been chosen to be the receptacles for your seed…"
Ly Ly spoke admiringly, even as she demurely looked away, as if she kind of wanted to be like those 'lucky women' but somehow doubted herself, positioning herself as someone who was ready, willing to be used and controlled…
Inbetween all these correspondences, the Suggestion had taken root, and grown.
At this point, it was time for the Provoke - giving Desmond a plausible excuse and reason to act now, so that he wouldn't 'miss the opportunity'. This needed to be done carefully, but played correctly, this GASP process could be continually repeated until the target... suc-cum-bed 🤭✨
