Chapter 112 - Bob and Sally’s search for 'Real'

"Tell me more about this… Prince and what he sees in the Princess…" Sally speaks softly into the phone, and for some reason, Bob feels tingles run down his own spine…

Wow!

He never got this feeling when talking to anyone else before.

He had to lock in. Luckily, after all his training, particularly thanks to his experiences through his high performing alter-egos, Bob thrived off so-called pressure situations, and he converted and channeled this energy into further resolve, to provide an even more wonderful and positive experience for Allie.

Bob continued painting the picture over the phone.

"To be honest, his identity as a Prince was a different life… deep down, the kind handsome guy just wanted to find true love too… and that's why he went Undercover himself!"

"That's why he understood the Princess… he could tell that she was… like himself… someone who was looking for something… real."

…Wow. Sally let the thought sit with her.

Something real… in a world of illusions…

It was true… she was surrounded by illusions… so many people, so many 'options'… and yet it was so difficult, sometimes it seemed impossible actually, to find something, someone that was actually… real.

Wait. Suddenly a thought occurred. What if… that even applied to Sally herself? Ironically, because of her status, her talent… how could people ever see the real her, through all of that?!

How could she find someone that actually understood her for her, and what it was like being her, and who loved and cared for her as… her?!?!

How could she find someone that truly *understood* her…?! Would she have to settle for close enough, someone who didn't really get it, but… tried to?!?!

No… she didn't want to give up yet.

Bob… please be real… she whispered to herself.

And as she had that thought, in her mind, she intuitively realised that you could only hope to receive realness… if you yourself were also real. It wasn't a guarantee, but she needed to try.

"Bob…" Sally whispers…

"What if… what if what you're saying is true?"

"What if I really am like that Princess… someone that is looking for something real, but doesn't know if she'll ever find it?

"What if that Princess just really did want to know what it was like being appreciated for who she was, and not just because she was a Princess…"

"And that's why she did go Undercover… in order to see if she could experience something… real… "

Bob exhaled. Wow… Allie was opening up to him… and he understood how precious and special this moment was.

To be fair, he didn't actually believe Allie was literally a Princess, but it was simply a good metaphor that allowed him to convey and communicate his care, understanding and affirmation.

That said, he gathered that she was somehow afraid of opening up to him, and his primary [Positive Intention] was to continue to convey his care, understanding and affirmation of her unconditionally and without judgement.

"You don't have to share anything you don't want to, Allie." Bob affirmed with both gentleness, warmth and honesty.

"Real is hard to find… I know it's not easy…"

"Just know that I'm just… here… and I care… I care a lot, Allie…"

Bob whispered.

"The kind, handsome guy is just here… he sees the beautiful Princess… he sees her, her warmth, her presence, her kindness…"

"Actually, he doesn't really know her true Identity, only what she's told him… but he realises it doesn't matter. She is who she is, and he realizes he cares deeply for her. That's enough."

Bob's words somehow give Sally a sense of just… relief.

Bob… are you real?! She whispers to herself as she unconsciously lets out a deep breath that she didn't even realize she had been holding in!

Bob had just told her that he didn't really mind who she was, that he liked her for… her, regardless of whatever else, that he trusted her… and… she felt like it was… true! Like he really meant that.

In the end, every relationship does have certain expectations. At the same time, in the end, they were also a decision, and not just based on feelings.

She enjoyed the feelings of being wanted, of being rizzed by Bob, but at the same time, if he had made this decision about their relationship, then well, she also felt she was close to making a decision…

Regardless of everything, if they both made a decision to be with each other, then wasn't that the main thing? There would always be external trappings like status, wealth, ability and attributes, but in the end, the truth was that since they already cared for each other without any of that, then chances are that this would be as real as it got?!

Still… she wasn't there yet…

"Bob… are you telling me you're secretly a… Prince?" Sally spoke musically over the phone, and her sweet voice filled Bob with feelings that one wouldn't get from listening to 10 symphonies…

Bob nevertheless maintained unwavering, utterly tranquil focus, concentration and calmness, as always seamlessly channelling and converting all excess energies into crafting care-conveying communication, filled with flavours of fun and flirtiness.

Bob was genuine, but not as naïve as he was prior to studying the Arts of Rizz.

Wealth. Status. Appearance. Ability. Personality.

These were all indicators of value for all people, and it was dishonest and unrealistic to expect that these things didn't matter.

That said, he knew Allie didn't like him just for these superficial factors, for all she knew, Bob was just a poor Uni student, yes he had potential, but that was all. He understood how precious this was, and he wanted to make her happy and fulfilled. Allie seemed to align herself very comfortably in his Princess scenario, and so he would give her what she wanted ✨"

"Well, I didn't want to reveal it too early… but yes, you have won this Undercover Prince's heart." Bob provided playfully.

"There is nothing more that this kind and handsome guy wants to do except sweep the Princess off her feet, spin her around and throw her onto a bed… to ravish her as she deserves…!!!"

Bob began to escalate, knowing that this skilful imagery was necessary to bring them closer in not only care but also chemistry… clearly conveying his [Intentions] as something more than mere platonic friendship.

Then he pulled back. "That said, it is just a passing thought, of course, he would never do anything unless the Princess wanted that too…"

Sally felt a smile come on despite everything. She was glad she had chosen to 'Allow' Bob a little past her Anti-Rizz Index, glad that she had trusted him.

"…The Princess isn't sure…" She teases.

"But she isn't... opposed to the idea… 🤭✨"
