"La!"

Solgaleo's enraged roar echoed through the Sea of Time and Space, and the massive sound waves caused the turbulent currents to ripple and spread slightly from the vibration.

Roy noticed this subtle change and was about to tell Solgaleo, but he realized it was already too late.

Because Solgaleo had now unleashed the power of a Legendary Pokémon without restraint due to his anxiety.

Majestic light energy instantly flooded the entire Sea of Time and Space—at least, the portion of it that Roy could observe.

The sun emblazoned on Solgaleo's body blazed brilliantly, even faintly overpowering those space-time currents and storms.

However, those native forces weren't intimidated by Solgaleo, this outsider. Now, because they sensed the presence of such a powerful being, they rushed toward Solgaleo with great eagerness.

Energy... strength... such delicacies they hadn't tasted in so long...

The turbulent currents clamored and surged forward like mischievous children who hadn't eaten a proper meal in ages. With ravenous intensity, they crowded around Solgaleo, attempting to tear pieces from him to savor.

Solgaleo stood completely motionless, showing no intention of avoiding them whatsoever. He was even gradually expanding the range that his light could reach.

Yet his eyes remained fixed steadily on the tower that imprisoned Necrozma.

Roy frowned, well-protected on Solgaleo's back. Even as Solgaleo released more and more energy, the light bathing Roy grew increasingly intense.

He didn't understand what Solgaleo was thinking right now. As a Pokémon with full combat capability, he was standing completely still, attracting more and more predatory forces.

Roy reached out his hand, trying to communicate with Solgaleo. At the very least, they needed to escape this predicament first. As for the tower, they still had a little time.

The turbulent currents surrounding Solgaleo eroded his body mercilessly, leaving patches of red and purple bruises across his form.

That's right—even Solgaleo, who possessed a body as strong as steel, could still be injured by the turbulence within the Sea of Time and Space. This demonstrated just how dangerous this realm truly was.

The ravenous forces tore away fragments of energy and devoured them greedily.

It tastes good...

More... we want more...

Solgaleo wasn't particularly bothered by the temporary loss of energy and flesh, but he could definitely feel pain he'd never experienced before, letting out a muffled grunt.

"La..."

The slightly weakened voice made Roy's heart tighten. Perhaps because his vision was shrouded in dazzling light, Roy couldn't clearly see Solgaleo's pained expression.

Solgaleo was strong—when had he ever seemed this vulnerable?

Roy felt anger rising within him. The Aura around him began spreading silently, searching for the perfect opportunity to strike back at these relentless attackers.

However, in the next instant, Roy felt his entire body become weightless. There was still nothing but brilliant white light before his eyes, but those hungry, gnawing sounds had been abruptly silenced, as if someone had pressed a pause button—they disappeared completely.

"Where are we?"

The light gradually faded, and Solgaleo slowly withdrew the power that belonged to the sun.

As far as Roy could see, there were bruises covering Solgaleo's body.

Even so, Solgaleo still held his head high, maintaining his proud demeanor.

He seemed to be saying: Look at those things—they were nothing but a simple trick. Anyone who falls for it is truly pathetic.

Roy was amused by his expression, and the worry in his heart dissipated considerably.

Teleport.

For Solgaleo, it really had been nothing more than a simple technique.

Roy's eyes grew thoughtful as he looked at Solgaleo, feeling somewhat emotional.

Had he grown this quickly? From just one encounter with the storm's disturbance, he'd roughly figured out some of its behavioral patterns—for example, that these forces were greedy for energy.

Now that Roy understood the conclusion, after thinking it over for a moment, it became clear why Solgaleo had chosen this strategy of injuring the enemy while harming himself in the process.

He was simply exploiting certain characteristics of the turbulent currents.

Also, in such an empty and desolate space, Solgaleo's abundant energy—or Roy's rare Aura—were both rich sources of nourishment for these forces.

Solgaleo lowered his head at that moment and nudged Roy gently, indicating that he should look down at their feet.

"We made it this far?"

"You've really impressed me, Little Nebula!"

That's right—the place where they now stood was precisely the tower that imprisoned Necrozma.

As the tower drifted, they seemed to be slowly approaching the edge of the Sea of Time and Space. The reason was probably that the boundary regions were more suitable for maintaining Necrozma's imprisonment.

In the silent Sea of Time and Space, a lion-like Pokémon radiating dazzling light stood majestically atop the tower, gazing ahead like an experienced captain surveying the ocean.

What seemed somewhat out of place was the fragile human sitting on the captain's back, yet somehow the image appeared remarkably harmonious.

Perhaps because the human had stayed so close to this sun-like being, his body was also touched by light that didn't originally belong to him—an enviable sight.

Under Solgaleo's protection, the human gently pushed open the tower's heavy stone door, revealing the void-like darkness within.

It was even darker than this shadowy Sea of Time and Space itself.

No one would have imagined that just before today, this majestic structure located in Ultra Megalopolis had still appeared radiant and grand, with the Pokémon curled up at its center showing no signs of awakening whatsoever.

When this deity was born, the light from the Pokémon within this tower had assisted in its creation, allowing it to emerge into existence surrounded by endless beauty and brilliance.

Roy hesitated at the doorway for a moment. After Solgaleo finished his daily routine of looking impressive, he belatedly descended and landed beside Roy.

"You're still showing off here. I don't know who you're trying to impress."

Caught in the act, Solgaleo wagged his tail sheepishly and walked forward step by step, trying to ease his embarrassment.

Roy didn't press the matter further and decided he'd inform Lucario and the others about this later.

With the arrival of the luminous deity, suddenly the dark tower became as bright as daylight, which naturally allowed them to see clearly the Pokémon imprisoned at the center of the black tower.

Both Roy and Solgaleo recognized it immediately—this was exactly the Necrozma they'd been searching for.

Surrounding Necrozma were inscriptions written in various ancient and complex scripts, forming what appeared to be sealing spells.
