Looking at this massive Swampert, Roy thought of the ancient Pokemon from the Pokemon world—the giant Dragonite, giant Gengar, and giant Alakazam. These creatures could survive from ancient times to the modern Pokemon world because they had undoubtedly broken through genetic barriers, surpassed racial limits, and extended their lifespans.
Elite Bruno's Onix was also enormous in size.
After the fusion of the Pokemon world and Earth, although Pokemon strength had increased dramatically for unknown reasons, the fundamental nature of becoming stronger hadn't changed much.
Seeing that Roy had no intention of switching Pokemon, the referee raised the signal flag high and, with a call of "Begin!", swung it down forcefully!
At this moment, Electabuzz was surrounded by golden energy—the Totem Aura it had always maintained.
Totem Aura's enhancement varied between individuals.
Mimikyu used the aura boost to enhance its vitality.
Lucario distributed the aura enhancement evenly across all abilities.
Electabuzz's choice was to channel all the aura into one area—strength!
It was a "strength-specialized" existence, unmatched by anyone in its class. With Totem Aura's blessing, its power had completely surpassed A+ level limits.
Simultaneously, Electabuzz donned its lightning armor and entered the more sustainable "Bolt Strike mode." The electrical energy greatly improved cellular activity, compensating for Electabuzz's weakness in speed.
In Totem Aura plus Bolt Strike mode, it had no weaknesses in close combat.
A complete melee powerhouse.
"Brick Break!"
The signature chop was swung violently, causing the air to whistle.
Electabuzz reached Swampert in an instant, challenging the mountain before it.
Swampert's expression remained unchanged as it raised its massive, eleven-foot arm and chopped downward.
It was also a master-level Brick Break.
BOOM!
A violent air blast exploded where the two chops met, stirring up hurricane-force winds.
Electabuzz was blown backward, its feet dragging a thirty-foot mark in the ground. Its arm was visibly swollen and heavily injured.
Swampert, however, hadn't budged an inch.
Both Roy and Jaxon had the same thought simultaneously:
"Monster!"
Clefable wasn't a fighting Pokemon—it was just a particularly durable partner, and its combat methods weren't top-tier. Through it, Roy couldn't perceive the full scope of "professional level."
Only through real battle did he realize that a professional-level Pokemon trained specifically for combat far exceeded Roy's imagination.
Even with Totem Aura and Thunder Armor blessings, Electabuzz was slightly stronger than Lucario in "Aura Fusion" mode, yet it couldn't shake this opponent at all.
To use a popular saying from fantasy novels: "Below professional level, everyone is an ant."
Little did Roy know, the shock in Jaxon's heart was several times stronger!
If it were Jaxon's Blaziken or Sceptile taking that Brick Break head-on, they would be lying on the ground unable to battle. But this Electabuzz was only slightly injured?
Such a huge gap existed even among A+ grades that hadn't broken through racial limits.
If Swampert hadn't been fortunate enough to break through recently, Jaxon could imagine himself being ruthlessly defeated by Electabuzz.
Jaxon couldn't imagine how powerful Electabuzz would be after breaking through to professional level.
This child is too dangerous—it must not be allowed to grow!
A similar thought flashed through Jaxon's mind as he immediately gave orders.
"Liquidation!"
Waves emerged around Swampert's body, enveloping its massive form. Its limbs were powerful as it leaped high, showing amazing jumping ability that surpassed the arena's ceiling, reaching over 1,600 feet in height.
Then, wrapped in enormous waves, Swampert's body fell downward like a meteorite, covering the entire arena.
The scene resembled a tsunami.
Electabuzz had nowhere to hide, no way to dodge. It communicated with Roy through aura, unified their thoughts, and made a choice.
Both fists ignited with flame energy as thunder and fire intertwined. Electabuzz entered Fusion Bolt mode once more, then gritted its teeth and concentrated all its power into its right fist.
On that right fist, flames boiled and thunder roared as the two violent forces merged and twisted together.
Fire Punch!
The lightning-flame on its fist took dragon form as it blasted toward the "tsunami" falling from the sky.
When other energies collided, they often caused explosions, but between fire and water, the phenomenon was evaporation.
HISSSSS!
Massive steam filled the arena as Electabuzz's fist collided with Swampert's body.
In an instant, all the water vapor was blown away by tremendous wind.
The current battlefield situation became visible to everyone.
Electabuzz's right arm hung limply, clearly fractured.
And Swampert...
"Completely unharmed."
"This is hopeless—might as well surrender now."
"So unfair! I feel terrible for Electabuzz."
"Professional versus non-professional is just a dimensional power gap..."
The hearts of Roy's supporters grew cold as despair set in. Some of the more emotional fans were already cursing.
Jaxon continued mercilessly:
"Hammer Arm!"
Swampert swung its mighty fist toward Electabuzz.
The punch wasn't particularly fast, but given the massive body size, the coverage area was enormous. This was why power-type professional Pokemon chose to grow huge—it compensated for speed disadvantages.
Electabuzz gritted its teeth, raised its rarely-used left hand, and performed its favorite technique.
Brick Break!
Already at a strength disadvantage, using its non-dominant arm made Electabuzz even weaker.
Naturally, Electabuzz was sent flying, smashing a six-foot deep hole into the arena's wall.
Before Swampert could continue attacking, Electabuzz gritted its teeth and stood up, launching another offensive.
Still Brick Break.
Swampert calmly swung its right arm.
Still Hammer Arm.
Electabuzz was knocked away again, quickly got up, and attacked once more.
Brick Break!
Brick Break!
Always Brick Break!
Electabuzz was knocked down repeatedly, but each time stood up resolutely, as if never afraid of failure, attacking again and again.
The unyielding fighting spirit and incredible vitality created a truly tragic figure that moved countless spectators, who couldn't help but cheer for it.
Swampert, normally calm in personality, gradually grew impatient with the harassment and showed an irritated expression. After knocking Electabuzz away again, it suddenly jumped up and used Body Slam.
Its massive body crashed heavily onto Electabuzz.
"Bzzzzt..."
Electabuzz's eyes rolled back as it lost consciousness.
Everyone thought it was unable to battle, but the moment the referee began to announce "Unable to battle," Electabuzz's eyes suddenly regained focus and it punched the Swampert pressing down on it.
"ROAAAAR!"
Swampert cried out in pain, taking its first damage of the fight.
It looked at Electabuzz in astonishment, never expecting the opponent could still stand.
The battle continued.
Seizing this opportunity, Electabuzz threw dozens of consecutive punches. Swampert endured the pain, grabbed Electabuzz angrily, and opened its massive jaws to bite.
CRUNCH!
Severe pain struck, but Electabuzz's eyes turned red without even screaming.
Instead, it looked into Swampert's close eyeballs and grinned wildly.
Brick Break!
The chop struck Swampert's vulnerable eyeball.
"ROOOAAR!"
Swampert released its bite and covered its eye in pain after throwing Electabuzz aside.
Electabuzz hit the ground and staggered back to its feet. As long as its will remained strong, its spiritual energy would continuously transform into vitality.
Even so, that spiritual energy was nearly exhausted, approaching its true limit.
Seizing the last chance, Electabuzz rushed toward Swampert and swung its hand.
Brick Break!
In one second, Electabuzz executed dozens of Brick Breaks.
Taking the damage, Swampert was in pain, but it actually helped calm the giant down.
Admittedly, it had fought too loosely and shown many openings.
But if not for Electabuzz's strength far surpassing its peers, plus its frightening vitality and willpower, the opponent never could have exploited those flaws and pushed it this far.
Swampert endured the pain and skillfully swatted Electabuzz away.
Before the opponent could stand up tenaciously again, Swampert took a moment to gather earth's energy.
One move—High Horsepower!
Charging like a tank, Swampert crushed toward Electabuzz.
"Graaah..."
Swampert groaned, seeing the seemingly invincible Electabuzz finally fall. Though clearly stronger than its opponent, it couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
It had won, but felt no sense of accomplishment—instead, it felt a bit of admiration.
Not only Swampert, but countless others shared the same feeling, and the entire stadium fell quiet for a moment.
Commentator Shaun broke the silence, exclaiming: "Unbelievable! Absolutely incredible! I've been commentating for over ten years, and this is the first time I've seen a non-professional Pokemon push a professional-level opponent this far. Truly, I look forward to this Electabuzz's future career—it's a born fighter and a born berserker."
"Electabuzz has come from being an experimental victim to today. Roy the trainer deserves much credit, but I also admire Electabuzz's unyielding will."
"I know that as a commentator, having personal bias during domestic competitions is wrong, but I really can't help wanting to say that starting today, I'll never miss one of its fights!"
As a commentator known for eloquence, if Shaun hadn't been genuinely moved, he would never have shown such raw emotion.
Shaun quickly regained composure and continued: "Let's look forward to Roy's third Pokemon... Ahem, objectively speaking, Roy was absolutely amazing to perform like this today. He's completely worthy of everyone's expectations, and even if he loses, it's an honorable defeat."
It wasn't deliberate negativity, but after Roy had battled so much, his Pokemon information was well-known.
Lucario, Electabuzz, and Mimikyu handled singles battles.
Blastoise and Ninetales were team battle cores who could cooperate with anyone.
At this point, the seriously injured Lucario couldn't change the situation.
Blastoise and Ninetales were standard "team fighting" Pokemon, not strong in singles.
So the only Pokemon Roy could send was Mimikyu.
That Mimikyu was indeed very strong with extremely strange fighting methods, but unless it broke through to professional level, it couldn't reverse the current situation.
Twenty days had passed since Mimikyu's last appearance, so there was no possibility of qualitative change.
Electabuzz could undergo such transformation because of evolution. But according to the latest research from Crescent University, Mimikyu was a Pokemon without evolution.
Defeat was inevitable.
Under the regretful eyes of tens of thousands in the arena and tens of millions watching screens, Roy took out his third Poke Ball and threw it forward.
White light shone.
What appeared on the field was a figure no one had expected.
Ninetales, as holy as ice and snow.
The moment Ninetales entered the battlefield, snow began gradually falling from the sky.
