"What?!" Urtes was shocked as he looked at the two shabbily dressed people. He recognized who they were.
The man running toward them was scorched all over, with several bleeding wounds on his body. He was wearing a tattered black and white cross outfit from a church and was holding a black katana.
This was the captain of the Night Pirates, Mondos Bank, the Night Executioner, with a new bounty of 415 million Berries.
The woman running beside him was also scorched all over, with several wounds that wouldn't stop bleeding. Still, her curvaceous and tall figure was visible. Her dark green raindrop-patterned coat and the dress she was wearing were completely torn to shreds. If not for the black soot that covered her body, she would have been exposed. She was holding a thin silver sword in her hand.
This was the captain of the Rain Scorpion Pirates, Smythe Betilla, the Rain Scorpion, with a new bounty of 270 million Berries.
"Hahahaha~" Abel's face was filled with delight when he saw how beaten up they were. He didn't know what was happening, but it was clear that the other side's plan had failed.
"Hey, hey, hey~ How did this happen?" Urtes was completely dumbfounded as he looked at the two of them. What the hell is going on? Didn't you guys go to ambush someone? Why are you so badly beaten? No wonder the other side is so terrifyingly strong?
Soon, the scarred and disheveled Bank and Betilla ran over, but they had no intention of stopping. They wanted to leave as quickly as possible.
Suddenly, a figure flashed by, and Bank and Betilla quickly dodged in fright.
Boom!
Another large pit was punched into the ground, and countless shattered stones scattered everywhere.
Abel, his skin a reddish-black and his body enveloped in white steam, stood in front of Bank and Betilla.
"You think you can just come and go as you please? What do you think this place is?" Abel glared ferociously at the two miserable-looking people in front of him, ready to fight.
"Steel Demon, Angus Abel!" Bank and Betilla were startled, and they subconsciously held their swords in front of their chests.
"Didn't you go to ambush Arlan? What happened?" Urtes quickly ran over, his face pale with concern.
"We were ambushed!" Betilla flipped her green hair, which had been burned short. Her delicate face was smudged with black soot, but her expression was one of grim determination.
"This is not the time to talk about this. If we don't leave now, it will be too late." Bank held his black katana, and with a shake of its blade, he directly swung it toward Abel's head.
Bang!
Suddenly, a gunshot rang out.
Clang!
A bullet hit the blade of Bank's katana, creating sparks. The powerful force deflected the blade, causing him to almost drop his sword.
"Damn it! He's here!" Bank's face turned ugly. He quickly took a step back, forcing his trembling black katana to still.
"Hehehehe~ If I let you run away, it would hurt my reputation. And how would I get paid? This is the first time I've ever encountered such a generous employer!" A chilling, strange laugh came from the sky, and then a shadow quickly passed overhead.
Everyone looked up and saw a strange black bird circling in the sky. Its wingspan was over four meters wide, like an enlarged raven, but it looked awkward and a bit like a dog. It gave off a strange and unfitting feeling.
More importantly, a person was sitting on this black bird. This person was thin, with a normal height and build. He was wearing black clothes and a black cloak. He had a black mask that was half-dog and half-raven on his face, and he was holding a black sniper rifle with a scope.
"Gulp~ The Death Gun!" Urtes' forehead broke out in a cold sweat when he saw this person. He swallowed and said, "One of the top assassins in the dark world, and one of the world's top snipers. What the hell is going on? Am I dreaming?"
When they saw the person whom Urtes called the Death Gun in the sky, Bank and Betilla's faces turned even uglier.
"You wanted to know what happened? I'll tell you now. We fell for a trap and were counter-ambushed," Bank said, looking at the Death Gun in the sky with apprehension.
Suddenly, a figure appeared behind Abel, and a calm voice sounded. "My apologies, Abel. Things were too urgent, and I forgot to inform you."
"Tch, it doesn't matter. But remember to buy me a drink to make up for it." Abel felt the movement behind him, pouted, and pretended to be disdainful.
"It's a deal!" The newcomer walked step by step and stood side by side with Abel.
This person had blue hair, a handsome and calm face, a cigarette in his mouth, and was wearing a light blue suit and leather shoes made of excellent fabric. This was the highest minister of the Clifford Kingdom and the first mate of the Chris Pirates, the Blue-Haired Gilbert Arlan.
Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!
Following him, four more figures appeared.
One person was tall and thin, wearing a white and red plaid long-sleeved shirt and a brown coat with silver patterns. He was holding a smooth, jade-like beast fang dagger in his right hand and a flintlock pistol shaped like a fang in his left.
One was tall with yellow hair, with one eye larger than the other. He wore a golden triangle necklace around his neck and a black fur coat over his bare chest. He was wearing black sandals on his feet. When he opened his mouth, it was filled with sharp teeth, and electric arcs occasionally jumped on his body.
One person was nearly three meters tall and had a muscular body. His muscles were so well-developed that his black short-sleeved shirt was stretched taut. He had a triangle tattoo on his arm and was holding a great-ringed saber.
There was also a person who was even taller than Marcus, who was beside him. He was wearing a helmet with a vertical mane-like decoration and horns on both sides with biscuit decorations as the base. His armor was in the style of black and white biscuits. His belt had the letters "BIS" on it. His mustache was long and pointed. He was holding a giant sword, wearing a cloak, and had a large biscuit shield on his back, looking like a general.
"What's going on?! The first mate of the Chris Pirates and the highest minister of the Clifford Kingdom, Blue-Haired Gilbert Arlan! The navigator of the Chris Pirates, the third company commander, and the military minister, the Gunfighter Myles Dimitri! The captain of the Triangle Pirates, the Fanged Devil Quiniel Vito, and his Head of Combat, the Executioner Muir Marcus! And finally, one of the Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates, the Biscuit Minister, Charlotte Cracker! Or should I say, Thousand-Armed Cracker!"
Urtes named each of the opponents, along with the top sniper Death Gun in the sky. He immediately felt unwell. Although he was arrogant, he wasn't an idiot. There were too many strong people on the other side. If they fought, he had no chance of winning!
"Seven against three!!! Is this what you call a foolproof plan?" Urtes turned his head and looked at Bank as if he were an idiot.
