Anne could see the girl running towards her but she could not see her face. A punch fell on her stomach and she fell to the floor.
"That weak" Becky muttered to herself and runned up to Anne who managed to dogde her attack.
Anne remembered what her Mum's words were.
"Your scream is powerful, use it well, it's a bullet but when not used effectively, it might do harm to your vocal cords".
Anne positioned herself on the floor and watched Becky run up to her, when she was few miles away from her, she opened her mouth screaming very loudly.
Becky covered her ears as the scream threw her across the road.
"What the… I thought you all said she was powerless" Becky shouted towards the bush and they could see an old woman walking towards them.
Becky saw it was a siren and ran into the bushes.
"Bad idea" Alvin said and looked at Melissa who coughed awkwardly. "She is with that siren now and that's not good for us"Alvin added.
"Why don't we kill the siren now" Rina suggested.
"We would alert the sirens"Theo said.
"You all have just alerted the sirens" Alvin said.
"So what should we do now? We have gotten to know that she can protect herself"Becky said.
"Let's just go home" Alvin said and teleported away.
Becky and Theo looked at each other and shrugged teleporting away with the others.
Anne hurriedly parked her car in the garage and rushed into the house.
"Mom" Anne called
"How was your date?" Selena asked as she walked out of her room.
"Mom, I saw them… I saw them today… I saw the Demons today"Anne said and walked towards Selena.
"Really? How many of them?" Selena asked.
"I don't know but only one came to fight with me, the rest were in the shadows" Anne said.
"Fought with you?" Selena asked shockingly "Where you injured anywhere?"
"No, I was not, just a few scratches when I was thrown to the floor" Anne said.
Selena moved quickly and brought the first aid box and started applying first aid to the bruises.
"Mum, I saw a siren" Anne said.
"You did what?" Selena asked as her face lit up.
"A siren… When we were fighting, I saw a siren, she was a priestess…" Anne was saying.
"... A priestess?" Selena asked.
"Yes, but she said she was from the Blue sea and she told me she will send two sirens to help protect me till I can protect myself so by tomorrow the new sirens will be there" Anne said.
"So she helped you?" Selena asked and Anne nodded "I should go see her" Selena added.
"No Mum, she did not seem quite happy with you. She said sirens were not supposed to fall in love with Demons, they were only supposed to enchant them and give birth to half Demons" Anne said and Selena looked down on her feet.
The next monday, Anne arrived school and looked around but could not find her friends.
"Anne, Anne" Malia and Tracy called and she looked over at them walking over to them.
"So how was your date with Lucas ?"Malia asked teasingly.
"Great, he asked about his earlier question but I did not give him a definite answer and he said I should consider him first when I am ready to date" Anne said.
"He's great and nice, you should consider dating and you should try him" Malia said enthusiastically.
"You two had gotten over your differences?" Anne asked.
"Yeah, I broke up with the guy we argued over immediately I broke up with Harris" Malia said and turned to look at Tracy who was staring at Miguel.
"Girl, you are making this obvious" Malia admonished and Anne chuckled.
"Let her be, if you were not warned to stop staring at Shawn, you might has eaten him up with your eyes" Anne laughed.
"That's not a good thing to say to your friend" Malia half yelled.
"He's so hot" Tracy said and Miguel turned at that moment locking eyes with her for less than a minute.
"Did you just see that, he stared at me, he freaking looked at me" Tracy said excitedly.
"It was just a matter of seconds" Anne said and they settled into their seats. "Don't let Shawn catch you staring" Anne teased.
It was lunch break again and as usual Shawn and Chelsea headed for the library while Malia and her friends headed to the cafeteria.
Shawn and Chelsea soon walked into the cafeteria when Malia was in the midst of drinking water and she choked.
"F*ck, he is so hot" Malia said.
"Stop that, there is Miguel here, come on girl, let's be serious" Tracy said and Anne shook her head lightly.
"You girls should stop this, you delusional things "Anne said mockingly with a smirk.
"Anne"
"Anne" Malia and Tracy called respectively. "Just because Lucas does not attend our school doesn't mean you are in anyway better than us" Malia added.
Gasps was heard as the handsome bullies walked in ;Harris, Fred, Ben and Travis, Harris glanced at Malia as he walked past and Malia gulped down nothing frighteningly. Since she broke up with him, he had made her life in school terrible trying his best to bully her at every given opportunity, coupled with her not being able to look at Shawn, it was so frustrating.
Harris and his friends walked up to Miguel, Tom and Adrian table and Ben slapped his hands on the table making the drinks fall off.
"What the hell…" Tom said angrily.
"Oops" Ben said laughing.
"And who is that talking?" Fred asked jokingly.
"Oh… It's the gays"Ben said and the students gasped as they brought out their phones to record.
"What the… The friends of your crush are gays?"Anne asked and looked at Tracy who looked down.
"But, that does not mean he is right" Tracy said.
Tom and Adrian exchanged glances and turned to look at Miguel who shrugged and looked away.
"Hey, you guys can't say a word because we are correct right" Ben said.
"What do you know?" Tom asked angrily as he stood up throwing a punch at Ben.
"You just confirmed what he said" Travis said with a smile.
"So the almighty Tom that got Vero crushing on him is gay and with his friend" Mulan said laughing.
"Atleast, the gay is still better than your boyfriend who has been with almost all the girls in the school" Vero retorted.
Ben smirked at Tom infuriating him who made to throw a punch at him but was stopped by Adrian. They both looked at Miguel and proceeded to drag him away from the cafeteria.
"Oh, gays… Indeed" Sam said as nonchalant as ever.
Adrian and Tom let go of Miguel when they were at the back of the rows of classes.
"See what you caused man" Adrian said frustratedly.
"It was gonna come out one day, leave with it and in less than a week the people will forget about it and you get to be free from that annoying Vero" Miguel said seemingly innocent.
Adrian and Tom glared at him hard but he gave them his innocent smile and they both sighed frustratedly.
The next day, news of Tom and Adrian being gays spread like wild fire throughout the school and Miguel was implicated as he was also tagged a gay.
"See what you guys s*x orientation caused" Miguel complained.
"Your loose mouth brought all this about" Adrian said munching on chips.
"We should manage in the next one week, the people will forget" Tom threw his words back at him.
"You're the gays, I'm not" Miguel said.
"Maybe, you should date that girl what's her name Malia, then people will know you are straight" Tom said.
"What? I don't like her"Miguel said.
"You just broke her heart, she is at your back" Tom said.
"Where?" Miguel said almost panicking as he turned but could not find her "Dumbass" He cursed.
"Stop lying to your self, you do like her" Tom said.
"I don't" Miguel retorted and Tom gave him that one of his 'I know how you feel' look.
