I blink and feel as if a bubble is around me but when I open my eyes the feeling is gone and I'm in a forest. I look around in confusion and I quickly notice I'm able to see more than I should.

*Okay so that is why I can see through the tree. It's like I have the byakugan but colorized and no blind spot. Although I can see in the tree so it is a bit worse...*
*Focus, down to business I'm in a forest with no clue where I am in a very dangerous world. It might be safer to hide in an id.* I look around at the lush forest and see nothing to be wary of for now. I move towards the tree to my left and try to form a basic dagger on my hand with light but all I get is a blob.
"Okay that's gonna take some work." I say as I then immediately cast [id create]. "I'm staying here at least until I can defend myself." I whisper to myself as I pull light towards my hand to try and form basic shapes.
I wander around the id knowing it's a copy of the world I was in just no beings beside myself. While steadily practicing I run across a concrete path. I followed the path for a while.
It isn't long before I find a city.

I can form basic shapes now and keep them in that shape for a decent amount of time. Anything complicated like a knife is a no go though. But I have an idea. I form a light ball in my hand and compress it more than normal and launch it forward at the fence in front of me. There is a slight scorch mark on the wood but nothing else.
*Take that you ugly fence. Even though you did nothing to deserve it.* I think to amuse myself.

*5 damage really… It might as well just be a bright flashlight. Although to be Fair it makes sense light isn't meant for big bursts. It's meant for lasers and the like. Yea I do sound pretty stupid now that I think about it. I basically just complained about not doing much damage when I hit the fence with the flat of my blade instead of the edge.*

*Wait a minute* I look at my back and see beautiful white wings. Why am I just now acknowledging them? Whatever one tab left…*

Trying again I form a light sphere and compress it. I then stop compressing the smallest area I can in the direction of the fence. A small line shoots forward. I then compress the light more in the areas I'm controlling. And the the beam glows a bit more.

*Way better* I look at the fence and see a small hole in it. It's not where I was aiming but that can be worked on. I form another light blob still from my hand. It's a little easier this time thanks to the skill I believe. I fire as much as I can trying to make the beam stronger by compressing the light harder while trying to compress more light in general at the same time.

I look at the 10 feet of fence that's riddled with holes and grimace. *I was aiming directly in front of me. I could understand a small area riddled with holes but this aim is atrocious.*
I take a break for a moment to regen my mana while I reflect. I feel the damage can't increase much more. Maybe it's more of a barrage skill than a high damage beam? Yeah I can see that I can only compress light so much before it tries to bond like my light constructs.
If I up my control I'll probably reach the point of firing hundreds of these in an Instant. I look at the hole riddled fence. I still need to work towards my aim though…
I stand up after my mana regens which only takes 10 minutes.

It's way better than poor. I turn back to the forest and distance myself at exactly 15 feet from a tree. *Now I just need to hit it with a laser…*
It takes about an hour to hit the tree…
"Finally, holy shit."
I look at the tree. *I grazed it* I think with a bright smile on my face.

I push magic into my hand and turn it into light. All it accomplishes is make my hand glow.

*again good but not what I was going for.* I decide this time instead of turning my mana to light and fuse it with myself I decide to replace myself with light. Only doing my finger because with [Gamers body] I can just regen it.
I form my light into an almost replica of my finger but it just sputters out of existence.

*Okay so it's that system. I'm going to have to replace my entire body with light. DNA and all so my control of light is going to have to be a lot higher.*
*for now though* I spread my mana and turn it into light. Making my body glow. *I can use this to aura farm.* thinking this causes me to laugh a bit.
Breathing in through my nose I grimace. *I need a bath.*
Staying in the id, I walk into a random house and take a shower. *good thing everything works while in the id*
After a very thorough bath I move to the tallest building I can and fly to its roof. *I'm in New York?*
*That's the empire state building over there. I was in the park? I thought it was a whole forest!*
