Chapter 215 - J.A.R.V.I.S

Ultron was already self-aware. He knew his rhetoric wouldn't convince the twins, but he had to keep talking—stalling for time.

What he didn't realize was that beneath Quicksilver's cover and the cabinet's shadow, the Chaos Magic Power flowing from Scarlet Witch's palm was creeping closer to the data core.

Chaos Magic Power could decompose and analyze any substance—even the Mind Stone itself—much like Blaine's Copy Eyes. So, while Scarlet Witch didn't understand the specifics of the data port, disrupting it was child's play for her.

Though Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch had once opposed the Avengers and been used by HYDRA to commit terrible acts, they were still human. Ultron's talk of evolution and purity didn't matter—at the end of the day, they stood on the side of humanity.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Just as Ultron continued his monologue, a series of violent explosions rocked the aircraft's tail section. The plane shuddered violently. Even the female doctor couldn't stay upright—she hit the floor and fainted. Looking out the window, it wasn't hard to see who was responsible: the Avengers.

Blaine didn't waste words. He teleported straight onto the plane.

"What else do you have to say?"

He raised the Cursed Blood Knife, its edge glinting red, and pointed it at Ultron. Blaine didn't take chances—he wasn't sure yet if Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch had turned against Ultron.

As he spoke, the twins instinctively stepped back, silently signaling that they wanted no part of this. Their expressions said everything: 'Do what you have to. We're innocent. We were deceived. It's all his fault.'

"You're strong," Ultron said coldly.

"I know."

"I'll make you all regret this…"

"It's over. Die."

Ultron froze—metaphorical question marks filling his mind. 'What kind of person is this? He doesn't play by any rules.' From the moment the explosion hit, Ultron knew something was wrong. His new body was about to become someone else's prize.

For a moment, he still had hope. There were many of them, but if he fought hard enough, maybe—just maybe—he could keep what was his.

But the stranger who appeared out of nowhere terrified even him. Blaine's intent was absolute. He'd come to kill. Ultron wasn't sure he could win, but he couldn't bear to abandon the new body he had built. What could he do?

It didn't matter what Ultron thought—Blaine had already acted. Without hesitation, he unleashed his spiritual power. The seed implanted in Ultron's mind detonated, and with a sharp crack—Ultron's mechanical skull burst apart, scattering fragments across the cabin.

"Yeah," Blaine muttered, "as I thought. Still can't kill him."

Even though this Ultron was destroyed, Blaine could still sense another presence. Ultron had escaped again—into the network.

The spiritual seed planted by Blaine's soul-tracking technique bound itself to the target's consciousness. No matter how many bodies the soul inhabited, the seed would persist as long as that consciousness existed. Blaine understood the implication instantly.

"That's your part now, Vision."

He placed his hand on the cabinet—and in the next moment, he was back aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. plane.

"Go, go, go! Let's move out!" Blaine barked. "Recover the scepter. Recover the Vibranium. And teach those two mutants a lesson."

The rear hatch opened, and the Avengers—fully armed—prepared to jump. Their formation made it clear they were ready for a full-scale assault. They didn't even realize Blaine had already handled it.

"Hey. What are you all doing?" Blaine asked, exasperated.

"Mr. Hunter? When did you—wait, what's that?"

They turned to see Blaine holding a large metal cabinet like it weighed nothing—a cabinet the size of a horizontal refrigerator.

"It's over," Blaine said flatly. "We're done here. Let's go back."

"Go back? Impossible!" Thor slammed his hammer into his palm. "I still need to show them the power of the Mighty Thor!"

"Ultron's already dead," Blaine said coldly. "Only those two mutants are left on the plane. You really want to go chase them?"

He sat down with folded arms, unimpressed.

The others looked embarrassed. They hadn't even left the jet, and the Bounty Hunter had already infiltrated the enemy's base, killed their leader, and brought back the spoils. For the Avengers, it was almost humiliating.

Stark Tower — Top Floor, Tony's Private Studio

All the Avengers were present—along with Blaine, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch.

Once Tony, Steve, and the others learned that the twins had been deceived by Ultron and weren't inherently evil, they accepted them into the team. Both were willing to fight against their former master.

"You know why Ultron can't just use the internet to wipe us out?" Tony asked suddenly.

"On the internet, there are infinite ways to destroy the world—but he can't. Do you know why?"

Everyone's expressions grew tense.

Banner glanced around, saw no one else answering, and stepped in quickly. "Why?" he repeated, hoping to keep things moving.

"Good question," Tony said.

"Because someone mysterious is blocking him inside the network."

He turned to the holographic screen and swiped his hand. A projection appeared in midair—a swirling sphere of yellow light, tangled like a ball of yarn. It pulsed rhythmically, alive.

The others stared, uncertain, but Banner recognized it instantly. That pattern… that glow…

"J.A.R.V.I.S.?" he breathed.

"Yes," Tony said softly. "Thanks, man. As you can see—J.A.R.V.I.S. The one who isn't dead. The one barely hanging on—bearing the weight of failure and still fighting. For Earth, for order, for all of us, he's keeping the system alive."

He paused, the projection flickering in his eyes.

"So," Tony finished, looking at the team. "What else do you want to do?"
