Naruto's lips curled into a faint smile.
"Fine by me. I've been curious to see the legendary First and Second Hokage with my own eyes."
Shisui looked far more tense.
As a child of the Uchiha, he'd grown up on stories of the two Hokage's feud with Madara—one the God of Shinobi, the other a forbidden-jutsu savant. Either one would be a handful.
Just then, Naruto paused—then smiled.
"Interesting. The shadow clone I left in Konoha just dispelled. Looks like they've finished their preparations."
Shisui's expression grew heavier by the second.

A vast pirate host soon massed before Konoha's gates.
At the sight of these strange, fearsome raiders, both shinobi and villagers blanched with terror.
Before the crowd, Hiruzen and Danzo stepped out, staring hard at Naruto.
"That's the Three-Tails…" Hiruzen drew a breath as he saw the ferocious Isobu beneath Naruto's feet.
"Naruto—"
Before he could say more—
"Isobu, Bijūdama (Tailed Beast Bomb)!"
Without hesitation, the Three-Tails opened its jaws. Violent chakra condensed into a terrifying black sphere.
"Wait—Naruto—!"
Jiraiya and the others turned ashen; none expected Naruto to open with a Bijūdama.
As the sphere swelled, Hiruzen's face also went white. He snapped to Danzo:
"Danzo—now!"
He'd hoped to bargain until the last second, but Naruto really had come to level Konoha.
"I know!"
Danzo's hands flashed through seals; he slammed both palms to the ground.
"Edo Tensei (Reanimation Jutsu)!"
Two ancient coffins boomed up from the earth—one carved with the character "First," the other "Second."
The lids fell away, revealing the faces of the First and Second Hokage. Danzo hurried forward.
"First-sama, Second-sama—!"
Hashirama and Tobirama slowly opened their eyes.
Tobirama frowned, staring at his crack-marred hands.
"This is… Edo Tensei, isn't it?"
BOOM!!
The dark Bijūdama screamed in.
Hashirama and Tobirama's expressions changed at once. One glance back at Konoha—and they leapt to intercept.
Hashirama clapped his hands.
"Mokuton: Hotei no Jutsu (Wood Style: Hotei Technique)!"
With a thunderous rumble, a colossal wooden hand erupted from the ground, catching the Bijūdama.
The blast rolled past. The wooden palm shattered to splinters—but Konoha was untouched.
"As expected of the First," Naruto's voice sounded behind Hashirama. His right hand leveled, cold and steady.
"Hiraishin no Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique)?!" Tobirama was stunned—he recognized the move.
"Shigan: Guren (Finger Pistol: Crimson Lotus)!"
Naruto's strike detonated—Hashirama's head burst apart, his body crumpling to the earth.
"He'll be fine…" Danzo blurted. "Under Edo Tensei they can't die—First-sama will regenerate—"
"Will he?" Naruto only watched the body.
Hashirama's head was regenerating—but so slowly he wouldn't be fighting again anytime soon.
"How…?" Hiruzen stared, shaken. "Why is sensei so weak?"
"Your Edo Tensei is the problem," Naruto said, almost regretful.
"At this level, you can't even draw a tenth of a shinobi's living power. How are you going to fight me like that?"
No doubt Orochimaru noticed the same flaw in the original timeline—and later upgraded the technique.
"You little—" Tobirama's eyes went cold. His hands flashed.
"Kokuangyo no Jutsu (Bringer-of-Darkness Technique)!"
A tangible genjutsu fell over the field; day collapsed into pitch black.
"Won't help."
Naruto's presence ghosted behind Tobirama.
"At this strength? You're far too weak."
Before Tobirama could even use Hiraishin, Naruto's Busōshoku no Haki (Armament Haki)-laden fist obliterated his head.
Both Hokage were down—needing time to regenerate.
"Busōshoku no Haki really does counter Edo Tensei…" Naruto murmured, then waved the pirates to charge Konoha.
The clash exploded on every street.
Under the pirates' frenzied assault, shinobi lines buckled fast.
Naruto intercepted Guy, crushed him in three punches, then used Kongō Fūsa (Adamantine Sealing Chains) to bind him, blocking access to the Hachimon (Eight Gates).
As Hiruzen and Danzo, in despair, prepared to unleash mutually destructive taboos—
Naruto surged one last time into Bijūka (Tailed Beast Transformation), wreathed in searing flame, golden chains fanning behind him, and smashed through both forbidden sealing arts.
When a mountain-sized, terrifying golden Kyūbi (Nine-Tails) stepped into Konoha…
Every shinobi let their weapons fall in despair.
The First, Second, and Third Hokage had all failed to stop Naruto.
What exactly were they still resisting?
Under the gaze of every villager and shinobi, Naruto—embodied as the golden Nine-Tails—strode to the Hokage Tower.
From on high, he spoke, voice ice-cold.
"Hiruzen is dead. As for the Fifth Hokage…"
"Princess Tsunade will take the seat."
The square blinked in stunned silence.
No one expected Naruto to choose Tsunade to rule Konoha—instead of taking the village for himself.
A moment later—and to Tsunade's mortified fury—Robin led her forward by a slave collar.
Naruto didn't spare it a thought. In the Nine-Tails' mantle, his eyes seemed to look out over the entire shinobi world.
"It's almost over."
