"What… the hell… was that?" Pinky whispered.
Kavi laughed. Way too loudly. "That was the cat! Sneezing! Loud breed!"
Alina raised an eyebrow. "I've heard of sneezing pandas. Not cats sneezing like a human."
Roy stood up "I'm opening that door."
"No, you're not!" Kavi cried, throwing himself between Roy and the hallway again.
Roy smirked and lunged playfully to the side, trying to fake him out.
Kavi stumbled, arms flailing, blocking him at every move like a goalkeeper at a World Cup match.
Meanwhile, inside the bedroom, Kiaan was quietly dying, stuffing a pillow over his face
Alina stood up too, now determined.
Pinky was already sneaking around the other side to trap Kavi.
They were closing in.
Out of desperation, Kavi didn't waste a second before breaking into a dramatic cough.
"I think I'm dying, let's leave the house," he wheezed.
But before he could stop her, Alina and Roy pinned him down like a criminal.Pinky had already flung his bedroom door open.
Her eyes lurked around.
"Guys! Come look!" she shouted.
Alina and Roy, who had been pinning Kavi down, immediately let go and rushed toward the room.
"I am done for" he face palmed.
But when they entered the room, it was empty.
Apparently, Kiaan had hidden in the bathroom.
Kavi quickly stepped inside too, just as surprised to find the room vacant.
"I told you I wasn't hiding anyone," he said, trying to sound offended.
"And the cat?" Pinky raised an eyebrow.
"He hates humans so he is hiding," Kavi said flatly, as he pushed them out of the room and back into the living room.
Then he dropped a bomb:
"Today's hangout is officially canceled."
The trio stared at him in disbelief.
"And why is that?" they asked in unison.
Kavi grabbed his wallet and handed his black card to Pinky.
"I want to give you guys princess treatment, yeah?"
Pinky's face lit up, forgetting the chaos . "You're so sweet." She praised him.
Roy grinned. "I'm finally getting that Rolex. Perks of being friends with a rich kid."
Alina, however, wasn't buying it. Her gut told her someone was still in that room.
She'd always had feelings for Kavi, and the thought of some other girl being with him made her chest tighten. She knew she had to act fast, if she wanted to confess her love, it had to be soon.
Kavi booked them an Uber, waved them off, and as soon as the door clicked shut behind them, he let out a long, exhausted sigh.
He made his way to the bedroom, where Kiaan was now sitting on the bed, looking way too amused.
"I nearly lost my mind," Kavi muttered, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
He stood in front of Kiaan and pointed at the door.
"Time for you to leave."
Kiaan pouted. "Not even a cup of coffee?"
"Not even water. Go home. And every penny my friends spend today? That's on you. You're paying me back. The economy's in shambles." He lamented.
Kiaan snorted. "What are you complaining about? You're literally from a rich family. You're a Shiva, right?"
Kavi froze.
He facepalmed again, dramatically this time.
"I cannot believe the guy I kissed doesn't even know my last name. I'm an Oberoi, you dumbass."
Kiaan's eyes widened.
"Whoa. The Oberoi? I've been chilling with royalty."
Kavi rolled his eyes and guided him toward the door.
"Says the Chandra heir. You're a whole nepo baby. How dare you call me royalty? Your family's wealth is practically ancient history."
He shoved Kiaan out the front door before the other boy could even say a word and slammed it shut behind him.
"I'm never forgetting today," Kavi muttered.
One getting to the room, it was empty, apparently Kiaan had go hide in the bathroom. Kavi quickly entered the room, he himself was shocked to see that Kiaan wasn't there.
"I told you I am not hiding nobody" he assured them.
"And the cat?" Pinky asked
"I told you he hates humans" he said as he pushed each of them out of the room to the living room, before he dropped a shocking revelation "Today's hangout has been dismissed"
The trio looked at him in disbelief "And why is that " they asked in unison. He picked up the wallet with his black card and hand it over to pinky, "I want to give you guys princess treatment yeah"
Pinky face curled into a smile "You are sweet"
"I can finally get my Rolex watch, advantages of having a rich kid as my pal"
Alina wasn't having any of it, she knew someone was inside that room, she had always have feelings for Kavi, the thought of another girl having him makes her feel sad, she knew she had to act fast and confessed her feelings to him.
Kavi booked an uber for them and finally they left, he sighed in relief and went to the bedroom we're Kiaan is now sitting.
"I nearly ran mad now" he said as he wiped his sweat.
He stood in front of Kiaan "It is time to take your leave"
Kiaan pouted "Not even a coffee "
"Not even water, go home and every penny my friends spend today is on you, you giving me my money back, the economy ain't smiling"

He pushed Kiaan outside of the house, he didn't let him say a word and slammed the door on him.
