Hemiros turned her head slightly, eyes narrowing. Behind her, Varek's body shifted, bones cracking as he fully transformed into a towering humanoid werewolf, muscles bulging with power and rage.
Raising a brow, a smirk tugged at Hemiros's lips."Wow, looks like you're used to getting beaten. You heal so quickly."
Varek froze mid-step, her words piercing his pride. For an instant, an image of his mother beating him mercilessly flashed in his mind. His claws trembled, and he involuntarily shuddered, trying to shake off the memory.
Hemiros's smirk faltered slightly as she noticed his sudden calmness.'Why did he calm down? I was looking forward to beating him more if he lost control.'
Before the tension could break, a ripple of energy tore through the space. A burly man materialized beside Varek, draped in a blue robe, his grin wild and teasing.
"What, Varek? Did you lose to her in just one punch? Tch."His mocking tone earned him a furious glare from Varek.
