The Demon Race inside the abyss could never have imagined that after leaving the abyss, the death rate would be so high, a situation beyond their comprehension.
But even so, only a very few elite can leave the abyss, while the weaker ones can only stay inside. The explanation given from above is that they must establish a reputation, without tarnishing the abyss's name.
Probably the main reason is still to prevent top human experts from invading. Once humans discover that most of the Demon Race's strength inside the abyss is very weak, they will surely charge in without restraint and destroy the abyss.
