"Can you control these too?" Alka asked, looking at Simon.
Apart from the area at the entrance where the flying constructs were stored, many other sections contained unknown metal objects. It seemed they were also constructs.
Simon went to where the aircraft were stored and picked up each remaining one to inspect it. He shook his head regretfully. "No, these were damaged long ago by the passage of time."
In other words, only the functional ones had flown out earlier.
Then Simon looked towards the inactive constructs ahead. The others followed him.
"This large pile here must have been weapons, not constructs. But it's a shame none of them are usable now," Simon said, picking up a spear-like weapon.
Jason picked one up and examined it. "This one looks fine, doesn't it?"
