This kind of Spell is generally used to inscribe onto certain single-use Magic Items. Once it's linked to a Circuit, it can be used to handle sudden attacks.
Simply put, it's an automatically countering Shield, as long as Alka's Magic Power isn't depleted.
When encountering an enemy attack, a thin layer of crystalline Shield automatically forms around Alka to block the strike.
It has decent resistance to both Energy and physical damage, making it a fairly balanced Shield.
It can also be triggered manually.
As for offensive or functional Spells, they're not as practical as this one.
After all, Alka has Mirror cards and doesn't lack most Spells in battle.
The only pity is that the defensive effect of the [Crystal Shield] Spell isn't great—Alka isn't too satisfied with it.
But there just isn't a replacement Spell for now. After all, this is just a relatively common Spell, so you can't expect too much from it.
