The birth of the child was a major event, and upon receiving the news, the first to respond was the current Steward of Musillon, Kasenberg. The Steward suggested Laine hold a grand banquet, celebrating the recovery of Musillon and the birth of his legitimate son.
"Hosting a banquet is not the goal. Through such events, showcase the Duke's connections, his status, his control over the Kingdom, and most importantly, his newly gained heir." Kasenberg was very keen on this proposal, even strongly urging Laine to go all out.
Laine naturally understood that from Kasenberg's perspective, he would wish for everything to be extravagant, because as the Steward, this event would provide him the opportunity to shine. Moreover, from his Winford standpoint, the birth of such a male infant from his own lady was naturally a cause for great joy for Kasenberg.
After a brief consideration, Laine also felt it was time to organize something grand.
