He couldn't help but turn his head to look at Kana, seeking an answer.
Kana nodded: "Without any surprises, there are followers of the Rotting Monarch inside."
"Do you have spells to isolate the smell? If not, you'll have to endure it."
"The stench is a common tool of his minions, part of a ritual curse. When you are affected and begin to vomit, the curse starts to take effect within you.
A disease similar to one your companions have contracted will appear on you, and the more you vomit, the easier it is for the curse to succeed."
Kana seriously suspected it could be because dwarves love to drink heavily, and the enemy seized that opportunity.
