Zhang Lu returned to the action team but didn't find Ye Fan.
After searching around without success, she came to ask Li Tong, "Where's Ye Fan?"
"Gone." Li Tong answered straightforwardly.
"Left so freely, without even saying goodbye." Zhang Lu remarked oddly.
"Where did you go? I asked Ye Fan, and he didn't say." Li Tong curiously pursued.
"Played the messenger, reported Ye Fan's decision to several higher-ups." Zhang Lu replied candidly, but she was unhappy inside.
"Messenger?" Li Tong asked in confusion, "What exactly did you say? Does Ye Fan's words really have the impact to make you act as a messenger? Ye Fan seemed to know where you went."
"Ah, let's not talk about it, it's all sadness." Zhang Lu said with a discouraged expression.
