By the time he finished connecting all the optic nerves and looked up at the clock, it showed seventeen hours and nineteen minutes had passed, with the time nearing 9 o'clock the next morning.
Lin Jie let out a long breath; this was the longest surgery he had ever conducted, breaking a personal record.
