Lin Mu felt confused and instinctively said: "But, construction requires upfront financing, and you're broke now, how can you come up with so much money?"
"I'll find a way."
"Find a way? How come I don't see you finding a way to first pay my salary? Damn, now when I drive that beat-up car out, I have to pump my own gas." Hearing Lin Mu's grumbling, Sophie felt deeply embarrassed and had no choice but to use her ultimate move, batting her eyelashes and pleading softly: "Won't you help me out? Really, once the company is running smoothly, I'll pay you back everything, okay?"
"Cut it out, empty promises are useless. Last time with Robert, you said the same thing. And then? You locked the door like a punk and even delayed the bills you didn't need to pay..." At the mention of this, Lin Mu became furious.
"Not again!" Sophie blushed, muttering for a while before saying: "That's all in the past, why bring it up again?"
