"Ding Dong! Mission complete. Congratulations, host, you've acquired the Ancient Saiyan Bloodline Plug-In." As Kane sealed away the Dark Dragon Ball, a mechanical voice echoed in Li Xu's mind his system had activated once again.
Li Xu's eyes lit up with excitement. With the Ancient Saiyan Bloodline Plug-In, the auto-training rate of the system increased tenfold. Now, his base combat power would grow by 2,000 points per day, passively.
"Kane, now that the matter's settled, I should return to Earth," Li Xu said calmly.
"I'm always alone here. It's rare to have company… Can't you stay just a bit longer?" Kane responded, clearly disappointed.
"Isn't that Shishi Bird always with you?" Li Xu gestured toward the colorful bird nearby. Despite its cute appearance, the Shishi Bird had considerable abilities its unique power allowed it to sense changes in timelines.
"You idiot, I meant people!" Kane shouted, clearly annoyed.
"If you think it's boring here, why not visit Earth? No one's restricting your movements," Li Xu rolled his eyes. As far as he knew, Kane wasn't confined to the Nest of Time.
"No. This is the Time Nest, the core of the Time Realm. It exists to oversee and maintain the multiversal timeline. I can't leave it casually," Kane replied with a serious expression.
"Wait, isn't there anyone else stationed here in the Time Realm?" Li Xu asked, curious. After all, the Nest of Time should fall under a structured hierarchy.
Kane nodded. "The Time Realm is governed by the Grand Supreme Kai of Time. The Time Nest is the most secure and sacred region under her jurisdiction. Not just anyone is allowed to set foot here."
"Alright then, I'll stay with you a little while longer," Li Xu said. Since he wasn't in a hurry to return, there was no harm in sticking around for now.
"Great! I'll show you around the Time Nest. As a Time Patrol candidate, you'll likely visit here often in the future," Kane said cheerfully.
Li Xu smiled slightly at the enthusiasm radiating from Kane he looked just like an overexcited child.
The two explored the Time Nest together for nearly a full day. Though Kane pretended to be indifferent at times, he was clearly pleased. Eventually, he opened a time-space rift and sent Li Xu back to Earth.
Upon returning, Li Xu first stopped by Capsule Corporation to report to Bulma, then immediately flew toward Kami's Lookout. He planned to enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (also called the Room of Spirit and Time) to begin a new phase of intense training.
"Hey there, Dende," Li Xu greeted as he landed.
Dende, originally from Namek, had been brought to Earth by Son Goku to serve as the new Guardian of Earth. Though still youthful, his magical and healing abilities were excellent.
"Li Xu, thank you for defeating Frieza on Namek," Dende said with a grateful nod.
"Dende, I'm here to use the Room of Spirit and Time," Li Xu said bluntly, getting straight to the point.
At that moment, Mr. Popo stepped forward. "Li Xu, be cautious. One can only enter the Room of Spirit and Time for a total of two days in the outside world which equals two years inside. If you exceed that time, the door will vanish, and you'll be trapped inside forever."
Li Xu had already spent two days' worth of real-world time inside the Room of Spirit and Time, meaning the moment he entered again, the door would vanish immediately.
"Don't worry about it. I have my own way of getting out," Li Xu said with a confident smile. He knew well that once the time limit was exceeded, the exit would disappear. But with his current mastery of space and dimensional laws, he could easily tear open the dimensional fabric of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
"In that case, follow me," Mr. Popo said calmly. Since Li Xu was confident in escaping on his own, there was no reason to stop him.
Following Mr. Popo to the door of the chamber, Li Xu nodded, and Mr. Popo departed. Alone, Li Xu stepped inside. The moment the heavy iron door closed behind him, the entrance vanished from existence severed from the outside world.
"This time, I'll push myself harder than ever… My goal: Super Saiyan 4," Li Xu thought to himself with determination.
He summoned a portable gravity chamber, a creation of Capsule Corporation, and immediately started his training. The room echoed with the hum of increased gravity and crackling energy.
Time lost all meaning. Days blurred into weeks, weeks into years. Ten full years passed in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. It was a decade of relentless solitude only training, eating, and sleeping.
Ten years of mental and physical strain nearly shattered his spirit, but the payoff was enormous.

"It's time to leave," Li Xu muttered. Any longer, and he feared his sanity might truly crack. The crushing silence was the most painful torment.
"Haah!" he roared, punching the very dimensional barrier. A black vortex tore open in the air. Without hesitation, he stepped through it.
Outside the chamber, Dende and Mr. Popo waited anxiously.
Although Li Xu had promised he could leave on his own, over ten days had passed outside—meaning more than a decade had gone by inside. They were beginning to worry.
Suddenly, a black hole split the space apart, and Li Xu emerged, tattered and cloaked in a faint aura.
"Li Xu! You finally made it out," Dende sighed in relief.
"Thanks for waiting. I'll be heading back," Li Xu said, smiling faintly before vanishing in an instant using Instant Transmission.

Arriving home, he was immediately greeted by Bulma, who gasped at his appearance.
"Honey, what happened to you?" she asked, alarmed.
"Bulma…" Li Xu muttered, filled with emotion. Without thinking, he wrapped her tightly in a hug. After ten years of isolation, just seeing her again warmed his heart.
"H-Hey, what's going on with you?" Bulma asked, stunned by his intensity.
"It's nothing… I was training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. For ten years," he replied with a tired smile.
"Ten years?!" Bulma blinked in shock, then suddenly stepped back, pinching her nose. "Wait… You didn't bathe for ten years, did you?!"
Li Xu paused. "Now that you mention it… I don't think I did." There was no water supply inside the chamber, and while he didn't stink due to the sterile environment, that didn't exactly excuse it.
"Go take a shower right now!" Bulma yelled.
"Ah! What are you doing?!"
