Chapter 6 - 6: "Awakening of a different kind."

[Late Night – Yuuki's Room]

Yuuki lay flat on his back, staring into the darkness. Curtains closed. Lights off. The room was quiet, but his mind wasn't.

Yuuki: (What the hell is this now... headache, chest tight, my thoughts are jumping around like fleas in a bucket. No sleep in sight.)

He turned to one side, pulled out the notebook hidden under his pillow, and flipped to a fresh page.

[Daily Log – Day One of Chakra Practice]

Today was... strange.

Started normal—morning patrol with Chief, usual Shuuki sweeping, nothing new. But during the transformation… felt something. A real pulse. Heat at the base of my spine. Not physical, not like pain or pleasure. More like pressure. Coiled. Silent. Alive.

I think that was it. The snake they talk about. Kundalini.

Now, I don't know what I've gotten myself into. I only know bits and pieces—things I remember from that old life. YouTube rabbit holes. Threads I skimmed half-asleep. But something in my gut tells me it's real. More real than anything else here.

So today, I tried something.

After patrol, did the usual—laundry, mopping, being maid-san for the whole squad. But the moment I was free, I sat down. Back straight. Mudra in hand. Closed eyes. Focused on that tiny flicker of heat. Tried to follow it, stir it, breathe into it.

Nothing happened.

Except my ass hurt from sitting so long.

Still, no regrets.

Afternoon—I went all in. Barefoot training, directly on earth. No shoes, no gloves, no gear. Just body and dirt. Ran laps till my lungs burned, dropped for push-ups, planks, squats. It wasn't about muscle. It was about grounding. Root chakra—earth element. If this stuff is real, then the body has to feel it too, right?

Dinner looked a bit... "Monk like," if I'm honest. Boiled roots, ghee, no masala. Just clean, earthy stuff. Everyone teased me. Himari called it caveman food. Shushu laughed. But Kyouka said something surprising—"If it increases stamina, it may help your slave form too." That gave me a bit of fuel, honestly.

Nei even said she thought it was cool. Quiet girl. But somehow, that meant the most.

Now it's night.

And I'm lying here in the dark, heart racing for no reason. Emotions swinging left and right. I don't know if it's kundalini symptoms or just me being stupid.

Still… this feels like the start of something.

And if it's a journey, then I'll track it day by day.

Even if nothing happens tomorrow, even if I just fold socks again.

One step. Then another.

Eventually, that damn snake's going to move.

End of Log.

[He clicked the pen shut, slid the notebook back under the pillow, and closed his eyes.]

Yuuki: (Come on… just a little sleep. That's all I'm asking.)

[Training Montage Resumes]

[Third-Person Omniscient POV]

From the next day onward, Yuuki began a strict new routine.

Wake up early.

Finish chores by 7 AM—fast, clean, no slacking.

Then accompany Kyouka on patrols.

But during each transformation, he focused completely—not on the battle, but on the faint stir at the base of his spine. That subtle pulse of energy. That single spark.

It had been a week now.

And that tiny sensation? It was everything.

It was proof that his belief wasn't a delusion. That he wasn't crazy. That chakra was real.

(Thinking) I can feel it. Just a little. But it's there.

Here's the thing—this world didn't even have the concept of chakra or kundalini energy.

Sure, "chakra" could be simplified as spiritual circuits or energy centers. But kundalini? That was something deeper. Feminine energy. Coiled and hidden, waiting to awaken.

It wasn't weak.

It was the raw power of creation. The energy of life itself. The soul's battery.

Every living thing had it, even if they didn't realize.

In a way, mana in this world might just be awakened kundalini, renamed by the author of this universe. Magic, elements, spells—they all traced back to the same source.

And here's a theory Yuuki cooked up:

There are seven chakras—steps toward enlightenment. But "enlightenment" wasn't one-size-fits-all. For Buddha, it was peace. For others? It could be power, passion, even domination.

Each path was shaped by desire. And based on that?

Yuuki drafted his own power system—lowkey inspired by those Chinese cultivation novels with face-slapping protagonists.

Stage 1: Root Chakra

Location: Base of the tailbone

Element: Earth

Path: Stay grounded. Strengthen the body. Build a foundation.

Symbol/Perks: (Still a work in progress)

Right now, his entire focus was on this chakra. No rushing. No skipping steps.

But sometimes, things don't go as planned.

Today, he took the day off.

Not by choice—Kyouka asked him to come along on a trip. At first, Yuuki thought it was a date.

(It was not.)

They were visiting the grave of her hometown—wiped off the map by a Shuuki she'd nicknamed "One-Horned."

The journey?

Nothing romantic about it. Just somber, heavy silence.

Even though Yuuki knew about this from his meta-knowledge, a small part of him still held hope.

(Thinking) Maybe… maybe we could still have a good time?

But reality hit hard.

Men and women traveled in separate train cars.

The women's coach? Quiet. Spacious. Cool.

The men's? Sweaty. Cramped. Loud.

Yuuki sighed. It wasn't new, but the unfairness still stung sometimes.

Anyway, their "date" ended with him practically begging her to stop at a café. Just to lighten the mood. Just to see her smile.

She wore a floral top, knee-length skirt, black stockings, and high heels—she looked stunning. And maybe, just maybe, he could leave a better impression.

(Thinking) Women are weak to sweets. That's a universal truth, right?

It worked.

She praised him—just a little—and said something that caught him off guard.

She was trying hard not to smile, to keep her image composed. And Yuuki… felt guilty.

All the lewd rewards. All the slave-talk.

(Kyouka enjoying herself but trying to hide it... made him doubt everything.)

Yuuki: "Kyouka-san… umm."

[He looked down at his ice cream, serious for once.]

Kyouka: "What?" [She raised an eyebrow, curious.]

Yuuki: "Don't you hate it? I mean… rewarding a slave like me with those things?"

[Kyouka studied him. His mood had shifted. No goofiness. Just quiet sincerity.]

Kyouka: "I've told you before. My goal is to become Supreme Commander. To eradicate all Shuuki. I'll pay any price to reach that."

[Her voice was firm. Her pride unshakable. Her pink eyes shimmered with ambition.]

Yuuki: "…I see."

[His smile didn't return. He looked down again.]

(Thinking) So I'm just a price she's willing to pay. All those moments meant nothing?

(Author: MAN UP, you simp!)

Kyouka: "But surprisingly, I don't dislike you."

[She folded her arms beneath her chest and extended one hand toward him.]

"Will you fight beside me—until we reach the top?"

The café went dead silent.

Everyone was watching.

Yuuki froze, spoon still in his mouth.

Her words hit him harder than anything she'd done before.

(Thinking) Her heart… might never be mine. But her body… her ambition… I'll conquer both.

(Thinking) Kyouka Uzen, I swear… I'll make you mine. Not just as a slave. But as a man.

[He took her hand. Their fingers locked—an unspoken bond forming between them.]

But just as quickly—

KZZT!

[Kyouka's wrist device buzzed.]

[A flashing alert.]

Kyouka: "Let's go." [She stood, sharp and focused.]

Yuuki: "Hai!" [He followed immediately, no hesitation.]
