The air was thicker now — not heavy, but ancient.
Every breath Milo took tasted of forgotten time.
The path before him shimmered like liquid glass.
Strange symbols lit up beneath his feet — faint, pulsing red — the same pattern he'd seen etched on the Blood Moon Map.
> "You were never meant to find this place alone…"
"But you were never truly alone, were you?"
The words echoed in his mind — not from the island, not from Eliora — but from the shopkeeper.

FLASHBACK: The Antique Shop
> "Some things belong to time," the old man had whispered.
"Others… escape it."
He had handed Milo the Blood Moon Map folded in an envelope sealed with wax.
Not a product for sale — but a warning disguised as a gift.
> "This map won't guide you unless the tides remember you."
Milo had taken it, half-dismissing the man's riddles.
But now… now the map glowed in his pocket.
He unfolded it — and it was no longer just paper.
It moved.
The ink bled into shapes — a pulse, a path, and a symbol that now matched the one carved into a stone pillar ahead.

A Shrine Beneath the Lantern
At the heart of the ruins, the lantern flickered wildly.
As if sensing what Milo held.
He knelt beside the pillar.
There was a slot — the same shape as the wax seal he had broken.
Milo reached into his satchel and pulled out the seal, long hardened and cracked.
He placed it into the shrine.
The earth shuddered.

The ground split slightly — just enough to reveal a chamber beneath the island.
Stone stairs descended into firelit walls, etched with glowing murals that told a story older than memory:
A man chasing a vision across oceans.
A woman dancing beneath a crimson moon.
A storm swallowing time whole.
In the center of the chamber: a pedestal.
On it sat a second map, different from the first — pulsing with golden threads.
And beside it… a journal.
Bound in leather.
Its title scorched into the cover:
