Now that Krow had the oh so obvious opportunity to look at the creature in front of him and all its glory, Krow saw what exactly he was facing off against and the severity of this situation.
It was huge, absolutely massive; it must have been at least 20 feet in height and almost ten feet in width just from how massive it was.
Krow had to use every trick available to him at his disposal in order to take down this behemoth, and he knew it wholeheartedly.
With giant fiery red fur and bolstering blisters and deep wounded scars from very long and treacherous battles Krow could tell this was not the orangutangs first fight and it might not be its last.
With a deep furrowed expression on its face alongside anger written all over its face, Krow knew he might stand no chance against the behemoth of the creature.
With each of its limbs rested mighty arms and legs with several muscles constantly looking as if they were pumping metal machinery just from how large and robust they were.
Constantly looking as if it had just defeated the biggest tug of war battle in its life.
Each of its breaths was deep and hot as it inhaled and exhaled completely.
"oooh"
"aaaah"
Krow could feel the heat coming out of its mouth as it exhaled, and he could feel the massive heat radiating from it even though it was ten feet away at most.
Krow looked more around inside of the temple ignoring the mossy cobblestone and multiple various types of insects and rodents crawling on the floor.
He noticed the giant throne that the king of orangutangs sat on and just how broken down and fragile it had seemed with each of the giant's toes looking at the six of his hands it was an insane comparison to say the least.
The throne itself was what seemed like gold or at least a gold covered color that radiated presence and nobility in front of Krow while the orangutang on it seemed with anger and rage.
With its giant hands alongside the throne's sides, Krow then also noticed the massive support beams inside of the temple.
As big as 5 feet in diameter and probably 25 feet in height, the pillars in the stone pillars were taller than the monkey himself.
The pillars seemed old very old almost like they were on deaths door themselves with several cracks and multiple holes all over them even a couple bullet holes perhaps there was people here before that had used guns to try and take down the creature but to no avail.
He noticed the patterns on the floor almost like a checkerboard with the mossy cobblestone on one platform and then the deep slate temple sand like colored on the next one criss crossing to create a checkerboard like appearance.
That's when Krow realized it he could use this to his advantage he could use the structure of the actual temple to defeat the orangutang instead of defeating him head on.
While Krow did utilize the various skills he had learned from spear thrusting and sword slicing, they ultimately would help him just maybe not with this boss's monster from a game it almost seemed like right now.
Krow could want any long and neither could the great ape as Krow realized while he was deep in thought and deep in trance all the apes around him outside of the broken-down temple in the outside jungle started to chant.
Banging on their chest perhaps symbolizing the start of a sacrifice or the start of another challenger, Krow wasn't sure which one it meant though he could guess one or the other for any reason.
"Krow it's really about to start you know that right?" Whispered Luna as she whispered it in his voice, looking as nervous as possible. Perhaps she herself didn't think that Krow could complete this like he thought he could.
That's when it hits him.
Quite literally.
BOOM!
A piece of stone from the throne was thrown in Krows direction and while he was looking away it hit Krow directly in the stomach causing him to groan in pain and lean over.
He was out of it for a couple seconds seeing the stars though not before ultimately regaining his composure once again.
It was during this time that the giant ape actually got off its throne and slowly walked towards Krow more.
Krow could actually begin to see its massive frame and stature in view now as it took giant slow leaps forward towards him.
Though this did not scare him as he knew somewhat of how to deal with things like this, to deal with enemies like this before.
Krow instantly got himself back up and ran to behind one of the pillars only making the monkey mad
With its infuriated anger only activated even more; it began to trample around with its arms hitting against its chest as it banged on it and made sounds.
It was clear it was going to break the temple's support beam, and that's exactly what Krow wanted.
Krow took a bigger look at the layout of the place, noticing the five beams that held it up.
He noticed how three of them looked severely injured and nearly completely damaged.
He knew if he could get three of them down then it would be game over, and he could trap the gorilla inside of here and get out of here on his own.
Though it was all about doing that in the first place and that was the hardest task to begin with of getting the oversized gorilla to knock down the pillars.
He knew if this plan was going to work, he had to create some measures of support to it and try and attack it heads on for a bit of a plan he wasn't super sure about but decided to go for it anyway.
With the orangutang now facing towards the pillar and launching itself towards it he knew it would crumble it easily.
As it sure as hell did the gorilla ran towards the pillar with a rage induced coma it seemed like and completely crushed the pillar in front of his eyes.
With such furious strength he watched as it gripped onto the pillar. Krow was behind and with both of its hands crushed it from the inside and watched as the stone pillar became like freshly grated sandpaper between its mighty hands.
This was a wakeup call to Krow. This was not a wakeup call to Krow for one small wrong move and he would be dead.
He needed to take more caution and be more careful than he really did.
