Ch 89 The candy prince part 2
Before shinya could even fully realize and process what had just happened before his eyes he was once again shown the screen. In front of the screen was once again the boy he had come to known as augustus
Going to augustus mind once again shown through the screen we could see just how his childhood was once again this time being shown him before the city market.
The boy arrived in front of the market with so many questions on his mind to see multiple stands everywhere vendors selling all sorts of things.
With lines of people filing up the streets and food shops right at the entrance of the market selling food. It was hard to even find enough room to get across people or even go inside the market deeper as the amount of people around the entrance was exhausting to bustle through.
Just barely squeezing his small body through it he eventually arrived deeper into the vendor till he arrived in front of vendors actually selling things items and potions and books of the continent.
"Selling small health potion packs for 10 silver for each one!" Shouted a vendor with a blue and grey flag and a blue hat on his head
"Selling beast hide for 1 piece of gold!" Shouted a vendor with multiple clearly beats like items shown all across his shop perhaps talons from birds and hides and skins.
"Selling the secrets of the dark ages and mystical magic from the elfs for 2 gold!"Said another vendor on the opposite side of the street. This one clearly was not from a human city as he himself had pointy ears like an elf sometimes people from other cities or species would even set up shops in the human domain like era. With books all over scrolls and pictures of magic everywhere.
"Selling sweet fragrances 1 gold!" Said another vendor this one with scents from all over the world and and people lined up to see their aromas that they had either created or found from other areas of the continent or even other continents.
As augustus walked down the market more and more people tried to get his attention noticing how the market was in front of these tall infrastructure like buildings.
The markets and the drapes and rugs for each vendor were completely different perhaps showing the unique side of each vendor and the city that they were from on this continent or the culture they embraced as a result of who they were.
Seeing flags being flown over multiple markets while augustus was too young to understand political and economical things he still understood there was different cities in the continent representing different things entirely.
"Selling information on the royal castle and the princes 4 gold!"Shouted a vendor that caught augustus attention. Because he came from the castle he wondered just what he could really find out from the vendor about the castle he lived in and those who inhabited it. Could he see the truth of the situation that he lived in and come closer to find stuff out.
This vendor didnt even really have that many people around him or things that he was selling people clearly were not buying afterall he was selling information something that is not valued that highly in this city on this specific continent as it was valued more on other continents.
So the only thing that the boy could do was go closer to the vendor to try and find out any information even though he had no money.
"Hey boy! What brings you here do you even have any money at all young boy! I doubt you do so why dont you go run along to your mommy and find out about the castle from her!"Said the vendor with a cheeky smile on his face.
It ws clear the vendor did not value augustus opinion or anything he had to say as a matter of fact.
Even if he did say anything it wouldnt really help him in the current situation as the vendor just saw him as a beggar and in the back of his mind augustus knew this.
He was defeated there was nothing he could do at this time.
Taking more looks around the market till he found something or perhaps someone he found a young girl around the same age as her.
Beautiful dark brown hair with bright blue eyes like his mother she even reminded him of her a little bit.With a small cherry button nose and a small petite figure.
Though it did not matter as he saw her far away all the way down the one way of the market she looked at him and smiled and then she was gone. He did not know who she was or what she was but she was gone nonetheless and all it did was fill him with more emptiness.
Emptiness cause he couldnt find out about the castle but he also couldnt find out about the girl that for his age he would haver a crush on her totally.
This brought his mood down even though he was in a place that wasnt the castle and it caused him to feel some type of relief.
He knew if there was no difference to him being in the castle vs being outside of the castle people treated him the same as just a child or worth nothing what would be the point of staying in it then. There would be none.
So he did what he shouldve done he left the market going back the same way he came in not even seeing all of the sights that he possibly couldve dodging vendors selling food and people trying to holler at him for one bad reason or another he eventually left.
He left and arrived back at the front entrance of the castle with it now being dark and constant guards on duty patrolling the area he knew they would take him back in and thats exactly what they did for him.
He was once again completely alone.
With the tape ending once again and shinya now looking at the end of the second tape he could only wonder where it could realistically go from here.
"So thats it once again? Just what am i supposed to do with this information i cant even talk to anybody else right now theres no need for me to see this"Said shinya to Lula her projection this time.
"Dont worry there will be" Said Lula in a completely serious tone.
