I was sitting in my chemistry class, learning about bonds, different types of bonds, covalent, ionic and so on.
It was all too much for me to handle honestly, my mind was going blank as teacher kept spouting words that felt like spells from some RPG Fantasy game.
"Hey, there is a Fair organisied in the nearby town, me and Aleck are going, you wanna hop in? It would be fun" said Leha as I was trying to focus on the class.
"Sure" I said,
"So you don't have Work today? You'll be free? Like seriously? " she asked,
"Yes, I don't feel like going today, I will give some excuse" I said,
" Ok then, please don't ditch us like every other time we try to hang out! It feels nice when all of us finally get to spend time together and have fun" she replied,
" so what time are we meeting and leaving for the fair? " asked Aleck as he scribbled chemical equations on his note book.
"5pm, my Car, stay on time!"
"Both, especially You Jackass!!" she said while looking at me.
Sometimes I wonder how did I even manage to make friends, I used to be alone most of the times having fleeting friendships all the time, the moment they found the cooler one, I used to get treated like a ghost, well, whatever it is, its nice, a little bit as I constantly get support from them for my studies, and in general when I feel down in life, because of them I feel a bit better , but there is still something that I feel I lack, like a piece of me is missing.
"For homework , revise what you learnt today, tomorrow we will talk about Allotropies, have a good day" said Mr Walter while concluding the chemistry class.
Everyone swiftly got up from their place and start to move towards their next class,
"Where you're going?" asked Aleck
" I will be back , I need to use the Toilet" I said,
"Ok, don't be late, today is an important test , I hope you remember that" said Aleck as he walked towards the English class.
I ran towards the Toilet , while also thinking about the test, remembering all the notes I took, everything I memorized.
" No way I will fail this test" I said while relieving myself,
" Hey! Selene, you coming to the fair tonight right? I will pick you up" said someone while washing his hands in the sink.
"She is coming to the fair?"
"She is coming to THE FAIR?"
"SHE IS COMING TO THE FAIR?" I said in my mind , as I got excited by this news,
" but who was that Guy? , well whatever , I must rush to the class , ugh! I can't wait to go to the Fair" I thought as I ran towards my English test.
