In a conference room at Cullen's Architects,
Unaware of the man plotting against her, Aveline entered the conference room with her team.
There were already two people in the room: the head of EventCraft Solutions and an assistant.
They didn't know each other. Aveline didn't feel the necessity to greet them. She and her team were taking seats opposite them when a man sneered.
"Ms. Laurent, looks like you aren't just naive, nobody taught you to greet your seniors in the industry."
A frown appeared on the faces of Nolan and the others.
Aveline looked at the man in the suit, in his thirties, with a wicked smile on his face. She didn't find him vicious, though his tongue was sharp.
Although he taunted her, she remained calm. "Accept my apologies, Sir. I'm Aveline Laurent from Grace and Bloom."
Only then did the man realize she doesn't even recognize him. He cleared his throat and introduced himself. "CEO Jude of EventCraft Solutions."
