Xinqing had loved embroidery since she was a child, feeling a great sense of accomplishment from stitching breathtaking patterns one thread at a time.
She started learning simple stitching techniques with her mother when she was just a little girl, and by the age of eight or nine, she could make exquisite little clothes with embroidery for her baby brother in her mother's womb.
At the age of eleven or twelve, she took over the precious embroidery patterns from her mother's hands and began copying them diligently.
In just seven or eight years, the little girl became the most renowned and youngest member of the International Embroidery Artists Association.
When it was heard that Xinqing wanted to apply for a major in fashion design, several prestigious fashion design colleges both domestically and internationally sent her invitations.
After much consideration, Xinqing chose Beijing Fashion College.
