The Power of Inheritance
The Nine-Tails was resealed.
Naruto, unsurprisingly, became its host.
But then everything changed.
Minato Namikaze did not seal the other half of the Yin Nine-Tails into himself. Instead, Miyuki Uzumaki once again became a Jinchūriki, sharing the burden with her newborn son.
If nothing unexpected happens, Naruto's future trajectory will be completely altered. After all, he is no longer an orphan—his parents are alive and well.

Chi Yu released the Four Violet Flames Formation.
Hiruzen Sarutobi rushed to the scene. He found the unconscious Minato Namikaze and Miyuki Uzumaki, with the infant Naruto crying beside them.
"Chi Yu," Hiruzen demanded, "what's the situation? Has the Nine-Tails been sealed again—this time into Miyuki?"
Chi Yu cast a glance at Minato before answering coolly. "The Fourth Hokage exhausted nearly all of his chakra, yet still managed to seal the fox's chakra in two parts—one into the weakened Miyuki, and one into the newborn Naruto. Konoha now has two Jinchūriki."
Hiruzen exhaled deeply. To him, it mattered little who bore the burden, so long as the Nine-Tails was secured. Still, he couldn't shake the subtle edge of mockery in Chi Yu's tone.
Turning to the attending shinobi, Hiruzen barked, "Send the Fourth, Miyuki, and Naruto to the medical station for immediate treatment. Then begin rescue operations and clean-up!"
Chi Yu turned his head slightly, feeling the feedback of a vanished Shadow Clone. Its memories confirmed that the battle outside had concluded.
Kakuzu and Kisame Hoshigaki had been weaker than expected. Even though the Shadow Clone only held half of Chi Yu's chakra, it had held them off for some time, forcing Obito Uchiha himself to intervene. Their strength was not yet at the peak the Akatsuki were rumored to reach.

After withdrawing, Obito found Kakuzu and Kisame still recovering from their struggle. He had initially planned to display his superiority by dispatching the clone himself.
Activating Kamui, Obito warped behind Chi Yu's Shadow Clone for a surprise attack. But the clone reacted instantly—locking onto him with razor-sharp perception, and countering with a spinning kick before Obito had a chance to turn intangible. The strike launched him into the nearby river.
Only when Kisame fused with Samehada for the first time did the three together finally overwhelm the Shadow Clone.
The experience left Obito shaken. If a clone was this difficult, just how dangerous was Chi Yu's true body?

When the Nine-Tails crisis ended, Chi Yu made his way to Orochimaru's base.
Kakashi intercepted him. "Teacher, how are things outside?"
"It's been resolved," Chi Yu answered. "But you should lend a hand with rescue efforts. Appearances matter."
"Understood," Kakashi said before rushing off.
Inside, Chi Yu found Uzumaki Kushina, pale with worry.
"Chi Yu, what happened? Is Miyuki alright?"
"She's fine," Chi Yu reassured her, briefly explaining the situation.
Kushina sagged in relief. "You scared me half to death. I can't believe someone attacked Miyuki and forced the Nine-Tails out… but thank goodness she's safe."
"Rest here," Chi Yu told her. "I'll help with the aftermath."
Kushina managed a small smile. "Mhm. Go."
As Chi Yu left, a system notification echoed in his mind:
[Host witnessed the Nine-Tails' Attack. Reward: 20,000 Witness Points. Host altered the fates of Minato Namikaze and Miyuki Uzumaki: +50,000 Witness Points. Host altered the trajectory of Uzumaki Naruto: +50,000 Witness Points.
Major event completed. Host has triggered three-choice reward options. Choose one.]
Chi Yu froze. It had been years since the system last offered a three-choice reward. Back then, it had granted him Lightning Breathing—an ability that had defined his path.
But these options could be both blessing and curse.
[Because the Host's child is soon to be born, one reward has been replaced.
Reward One: Power of Inheritance – All innate abilities of the Host may be inherited by blood descendants.

Chi Yu's lips pressed thin. Two Mangekyō powers were tempting—Obito's Kamui, or Itachi's Tsukuyomi, for example. But the Power of Inheritance… that was priceless. His child, Uzumaki Cangna, could grow to surpass even him.
"I choose Reward One."
[Selection confirmed. Power of Inheritance will activate upon the birth of the Host's child.]
Chi Yu exhaled slowly. More than points or powers, this inheritance was his greatest prize. Still, his Witness Points now totaled 206,000—close to the 250,000 needed for the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
Yet one thought nagged him.
Why did the system still list the boy as Uzumaki Naruto? With Minato alive, shouldn't he be Namikaze Naruto?

Chi Yu received an Anbu summons to the Hokage Building.
Inside, nearly every clan leader of Konoha was present—alongside Hiruzen, Danzo, Koharu, and Homura.
But Minato Namikaze was absent. And so was Uchiha Fugaku.
