The midnight was fast to arrived and every soldiers lining with their swords. They looked quite excited rather than nervous and the captain was quite happy about it.
"Captain, do you think we can survive this attack?" The Vice Captain asked while staring at the soldiers forming their line. It is already time for them to march in just a few minutes.
"Tsk. Lets see. So far, I quite underestimate them. They have high morale which I didn't expect. Quite brave for new soldiers going to war." The Vice Captain nodded and sighed.
"I thought we were going to attacked tomorrow night?"
"Well, they changed it. The sooner we attacked, it will prevent them to be prepared for us."
"It was really getting weirder. I---"
"It is better to just do what they wanted especially that this was way more beneficial to us. It is already time. Let us start our journey." He went to the center and stand while looking at the soldiers.
"Soldiers! Attention! This day will be our break through. We will just do a surprise attack and give time to finish the mission. Though we trained for a short time. We believe in you guys. We will fight to death but make sure to come back alive!"
"Yes Captain!" The team started to walked and followed their captain barefoot. They matched until dawn and finally arrived near at the enemies camp. They tried to hide their bodies in the forest and observed the enemy. It was already time for them to rise up thus almost every soldiers were doing their thing in their camp.
It was already just in a few minutes until they get discovered so the Captain asked the teams fire squad to lined up. It was to their advantage as they will do surprised attacked. The rest if the soldiers are already starting to hold their swords very tightly and readied theirselves to fight.
"Amishta, I got your back." Marco whispered and patted her shoulder. Amishta smiled back and looked at her unconsciously group of friends.
"Let's all fight together."
"Fire!" The captain shouted and the soldiers started to launched an attack. Someone puts a fire to the arrows and then fired up to the enemies camp. The enemy was surprised and immediately defended their camp from intruders. Everyone is already filled with fighting spirit to win.
The fire attacked cause a huge blow to the enemies soldiers but since they were huge in numbers Amishta's group does not still have the confidence to win.
"Attack!!!"
"Yaaaaahhh!!!"
Everyone run towards the enemy and fight endlessly. Their team is not that new to martial arts thus they were not easily defeated. Amishta lead the group to the center of the camp. They were bruised but it was not that serious.
"Zion!" Amishta shouted as she noticed a sword that sneakily attacking Zion. He is attacked from front and side thus he was distracted and felt the back attack. Zion dodged and Xian immediately helped him.
Amishta with her group arrived at the center and encounter some of those with ranks thus their martial arts was quite high. Amishta fight with them with a little bit of hesitation. She knew that her team can't afford to be able to win against them but they can still stand for a certain time.
Amishta was rather indignant when she notice that there were no general leading the enemies. Perhaps, the highest rank shall be the Captain which was fighting with their Captain. She was rather suspicious, the army they were fighting was obviously the main army of the enemy so how come for this big move of their Kingdom that no known General was leading.
"Amishta!" Her team shouted when an arrow nearly hurt her. She was distracted because of her thought. She moved her body but it was too late thus suffering from scratch from her shoulders. It was not serious but it can be serious if she will suffer blood lost from it.
Marco and Jose covered her to wrapped her wound. She cut a small piece from her clothes and fastly tied it to her wound. She tried to tied it tightly and nearly shouted because of pain. She may be good at martial arts but she actually has lower tolerance of pain but she just pretended to act brave.
"Retreat! This is an ambush!" Amishta suddenly shouted as she was sure of her suspicious. The Captain heared her and looked at her. Since Amishta was still a soldier thus some soldiers were hesitant to follow her but they tried to see scape route anyway.
"Retreat!" The Captain mimicked Amishta thus soldiers were moving backwards but the enemy was not giving way for them. They just act approvingly of Amishta's word. The soldiers already knew that they might not be able to scape already as they were surrounded by the enemy.
"Fight to death!" The Captain shouted to raise the soldiers morale. As expected they were back with their vigor and fight up to their last breath. The soldiers atleast want to die with honor and don't want to surrender with the enemy.
Amishta was very angry as she saw how some of the soldiers die infront of her. She was nearly into her breaking point if anger. Her martial arts seemed to become better and kill enemy super fast. She most likely used her identity as an assassin in the battlefield.
The soldiers were secretly admiring her in the midst of fighting. They were proud having a female soldier that was way more strong than them. They can't even feel their pride getting lowered as they see her as something higher. In the midst of war, she became everyone's hope.
The enemy was very dissatisfied with the way Amishta's team was still striving despite their disadvantage. General Gunder was a known general and that he was a bright one. Despite being an enemy he was impressed with the soldiers as he was told that they were just trained. It was an insult to him at first but seems like it was good that he did prepare for them.
He saw Amishta from the crowd. He was only supposed to observed and not to fight but he was already getting impatient as he saw many of his soldiers died infront of him. He saw how Amishta mercilessly killed his soldiers and readied to kill more.
He matched to Amishta while killing some soldiers. It is a good thing that Amishta's team was right behind her thus nothing happens to them. Amishta can clearly see General Gunder marching towards her. She was not yet ready for such fight but atleast she can try to keep it still until her uncle make a move.
"You are a girl?" General Gunder never thought that she was impressed with a girl. He smirked and looked at her from head to toe. The soldiers give way to their General which makes the fight interrupted.
"Got a problem with that?" Amishta coldly stated. She can feel a dangerous aura from the general and probably this kind of person was really somewhat very familiar with her as she was use to have such aura before. This person is someone who can easily kill a person without blinking an eye.
"I want you to be my disciple." The General stated that made everyone stunned. They obviously saw the General being angry with Amishta's statement so being her teacher was never comes to their mind. Amishta probably agreed if he was not an enemy. She actually respected him as soon as he saw him but since they were in a different situation so she must not show it.
"Oho! The Great General Gunder was actually ticked skinned to bluntly wanting our Kingdom. Isn't it a hobby for you to do that? Why not have your soldier be your disciple or maybe your soldiers were obviously lower than ours for you to do so?" General Hiro smirked and walked towards Amishta.
General Gunder was pissed. He was not usually aiming to have a disciple but he was totally impressed with Amishta so he asked. He was also once interested with General Gunder to be his disciple but was bluntly rejected by him. So he felt that he was slapped twice this time.
"General Hiro has come. Looks like you can't bear to let your new trained soldiers die which was obviously just a trap you made." General Hiro just want to inflict an internal fight as he was totally angry. The soldiers were not swayed as they were already not ordinary thus making General Gunder even more pissed.
"Well, if this soldiers wouldn't dare to fight then they are not suitable to be in the army." The soldiers agreed and raised their sword while shouting fight. General Gunder sneered and looked back to Amishta.
"Young lady, do you consider my offer?"
She was actually hesitating. As she looked at the man infront of her and learned about her makes her emotional. She just stared at him with a longing expression. General Gunder felt much more relaxed as he saw Amishta but was quite confuse about her expression towards him. He was rather have a good feeling about her.
General Hiro noticed Amishta's weird expression to the enemy thus he flicked a stone with a bit of strength just to wake up Amishta from her thoughts. Amishta felt the stone and secretly looked at General Hiro and nodded.
