Chapter 17 - First World-17[END].

The steam thickened as Gu Yangjin's breath caught. She stared at Qiao Zhi, the request hanging between them like a live wire. "Cat... ears?" Her voice wavered between disbelief and amusement, fingers tightening on Qiao Zhi's damp shoulders.

Qiao Zhi's grin turned wolfish. "And a tail." Her thumb circled the base of Gu Yangjin's spine. "Fluffy. Soft." She punctuated each word with a kiss along her collarbone. "Mine to play with."

Gu Yangjin's laugh came out breathless. "You're ridiculous." But even as she protested, golden light began swirling around her fingertips-the telltale shimmer of soul power. Qiao Zhi watched, transfaced, as the energy coiled upward.

The transformation happened in a heartbeat.

Two velvety black ears sprouted from Gu Yangjin's hair, twitching as droplets from the shower hit them. A matching tail emerged, lush and swaying like ink spilled across fresh snow. Qiao Zhi's throat went dry. "Perfect," she rasped.

Gu Yangjin touched an ear self-consciously. "They're... sensitive." Her blush deepened when Qiao Zhi's eyes darkened.

"Good."

In one motion, Qiao Zhi lifted her onto the marble countertop. The cold surface made Gu Yangjin gasp-a sound that choked off when Qiao Zhi's mouth closed around one twitching ear.

"Q-Qiao!" Her back arched, tail lashing. The ear was warmer than expected, the velvety texture driving Qiao Zhi wild. She suckled gently, tongue tracing the inner curve. Gu Yangjin's nails scraped the counter, breath coming in shallow pants. "That's... cheating..."

Qiao Zhi switched to the other ear, teeth grazing the base. "You love it." Her hand found the tail, fingers sinking into impossibly soft fur. Gu Yangjin jerked, a high whine escaping as Qiao Zhi stroked from root to tip. "So responsive," she murmured against the flushed skin of Gu Yangjin's throat.

"!" Gu Yangjin's beautiful eyes widened slightly, shocked by the vulgarity in Qiao Zhi's words.

But she was not shocked for long, because Qiao Zhi started to tease her again, quickly distracting her.

She whispered in her ears, kissed her and touched her. She knew Gu Yangjin's physical weaknesses very well. It didn't take long for Gu Yangjin to become unable to bear her teasing.

Her mind was in a daze, and she found it difficult to resist any excessive requests made by Qiao Zhi.

With a rapid low moan, Gu Yangjin closed her eyes resignedly, and a pair of cat ears popped out from between her hair. At the same time, her big furry tail swept over Qiao Zhi's thighs and moved inwards towards the base of Qiao Zhi's legs.

Qiao Zhi didn't expect that the cat's tail would be able to attack by surprise. When she tried to catch it, the tail swung away flexibly and swayed on Qiao Zhi's wrist.

Gu Yangjin's face was flushed, and her chest rose and fell with her breathing, making her look both beautiful and charming.

Her curled eyelashes were lifted up, and there was a hint of charm between her eyebrows. Her eyes were hooked, and she glanced at Qiao Zhi and hooked Qiao Zhi's soul away.

Qiao Zhi swallowed her saliva and let the madness bursting out from her heart engulf her remaining sanity.

Gu Yangjin's hands on her back suddenly tightened, her nails dug deep and left scratches.

The three-pointed cat ears sometimes drooped and sometimes stood up, swaying with the waves.

When an electric current penetrated her, her tail locked onto Qiao Zhi's arm tightly, and the hair at the base of her tail was wetted by the dripping stream and tangled into clumps.

Before she came out of her trance, Qiao Zhi suddenly turned her over and bit the back of her neck without saying a word.

"Hmm." Gu Yangjin's whole body trembled violently, her body firmly pressed against the white tiles, and she completely lost the ability to resist.

The smooth back pressed against her with a soft touch, and the deeper impulses struck deep into her soul.

She didn't remember how it ended, how they got into bed, or whether Qiao Zhi's hand was injured.

All that remained in her consciousness were the swaying lights and a gorgeous dream of dancing in the clouds.

Many years passed, and life was happy for Qiao Zhi and Gu Yangjin. Qiao Zhi worked casually as the vice president of Xin Corporation, helping her older sister Xin Luo, the president. Together, they made the company bigger and stronger. Qiao Zhi's sharp mind and relentless drive propelled Xin Corporation to dizzying heights alongside her sister Xin Luo. Boardrooms buzzed with their strategic genius, the sisters transforming the company into a global titan with ventures spanning tech, healthcare, and sustainable energy. Yet every evening, Qiao Zhi's stern CEO mask melted the moment she stepped into their penthouse, where Gu Yangjin would greet her with a tail-flicking smirk-sometimes literally, when nostalgia struck and she summoned those velvety ears. They often visited their parents, Mother Xin and Father Xin, and the whole family spent a lot of time together, laughing and enjoying each other's company.

One year after Qiao Zhi and Gu Yangjin got married, Gu Yangjin became very famous. She acted in several dramas and movies and even won the best newcomer award. Her career grew quickly, and many people loved her. Her next film Whispers of Moonlight shattered box office records, critics raving about the "fiery newcomer with galaxies in her eyes." The Best leading actress Award gleamed on her mantel.

After that year, Xin Luo got married too. Her wedding with her omega partner, Xu Rongwan, was a big and beautiful event. More years passed, and Qiao Zhi and Gu Yangjin stayed deeply in love. They supported each other through everything and never stopped caring for one another.

On their 50th anniversary, the world paused. Found hand-in-hand in their bed, faces peaceful as dawn, Qiao Zhi and Gu Yangjin left as they'd lived-utterly intertwined. The funeral drew crowds of mourners and fans, oceans of white lilies drowning the cemetery. Xin Luo, now silver-haired and leaning on Xu Rongwan's arm with their children beside them, glared at the caskets as if scolding them for leaving first.

A day after their funeral, another huge news shocked the entire world. The famous star couple, Qiao Zhi and Gu Yangjin's will has been made public by the Xin corporation.

The will shocked headlines: The famous star couple's total net worth of hundreds of billions of dollars funneled into orphanages, climate research, and omega rights groups. No statues, no legacy funds-just a handwritten note: "Love wildly. Give fiercely."

The whole world praised them and remembered them even after their death but death wasn't the end for Qiao Zhi and Gu Yangjin.

"On to the next world, it seems." Qiao Zhi said with a sad sigh as she looked at the glowing white orb in her hand.
