In one fluid motion, Dexter's dagger morphed into teleportation sandals. He blinked to the exit, then instantly transformed them into a crossbow. The bolt flew straight for the healer's heart — only for FireSnapper to intercept it with his own body, the damage barely scratching his HP bar.
'Tch. Even Tier III gear can't dent this bastard?' Dexter grimaced.
"Listen carefully, FlyHighLikeAButterfly," FireSnapper spat blood, his voice steel.
"Surrender now, or face the entire Alliance. I've already reported your cheating." He flashed a glowing system message.
"Millions will hunt you across Eldrion."
Dexter's hands began to shake violently, his face paling.
"Y-you're joking... right?" he stammered, the perfect picture of terrified desperation.
The party relaxed visibly, shields lowering. FireSnapper extended a hand.
"Join us instead. With your... abilities, we could rule Eldrion together."
Behind his trembling facade, Dexter's mind raced.
