Chapter 424 - CHAPTER 423: The Fall of the Elders

As the King of News,

Morgans, like Fiesta, possessed an unparalleled passion for organizing celebrations. He even considered the Great Age of Pirates the greatest celebration Roger had ever created. Therefore, he envisioned a future celebration even grander than the opening of the Great Age of Pirates, through collaboration with Bullett and the permanent landmark of the Final Island.

Morgans, too, was deeply passionate about news.

He particularly wanted to report firsthand, especially significant news that lay hidden from the public.

However, this time, he hesitated.

In the end, he silently decided not to report.

His passion for reporting news didn't mean he was fearless. He didn't want to be left without a place in this world.

"But perhaps, in the future, I could consider becoming the exclusive news reporter for the new world ruler?" Morgans murmured softly, his lips curled in anticipation.

The kings of the underworld were all powerful,

but in terms of strength, they were definitely not comparable to the Four Emperors' admirals.

His exceptional status in the New World stemmed from his immense strength and extensive connections.

But now, even before the other kings of the underworld, he understood that the world's dynamics were shifting. Barring any unforeseen events, the coming turmoil would be more severe than ever before.

Even he needed to find a way out.

And in his opinion, the best escape was the Black Crow.

Morgans' eyes flickered at this thought.

A series of plans formed in his mind.

Then, he watched the battle on Mary Geoise once again, quietly waiting.

Waiting for… the final outcome.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

On Mary Geoise, a terrifying collision erupted. The slaughter never ceased.

"The victor of this war will be you, my lord!" Warwick roared, his crimson eyes sweeping across the land, his entire body enveloped in a halo of Armament Haki. He took a step forward, his figure appearing in the distance. Immediately, a large number of World Government soldiers fell to the ground, their necks pierced by deep wounds, blood splattering.

"It's finally over," Lilith smiled, her figure flashing as she dodged an attack from one of the Four Elders. Then, she appeared behind him, a burst of wind blades erupting, abruptly inflicting a deep wound on his back. She then looked towards Mio with a dazed gaze.

Despair spread through the hearts of the World Government members.

Meanwhile, the Black Crows were filled with anticipation and excitement.

Mio took a step forward, suddenly appearing before Rocks, grinning excitedly and delivering a punch.

"Damn it!" Rocks roared, and without hesitation, he also delivered a punch. A shockwave gathered around his fist, carrying unparalleled destructive power. The terrifying vibrations cracked the ground with deep gashes.

But the next moment, Mio vanished, Rocks's strike missing.

Mio then reappeared behind Rocks, delivering another punch.

"I've been prepared for you," Rocks roared, swiftly turning and delivering another punch.

Mio's lips curled up in a mocking smile. "Even if you're prepared, what good will it do?"

His voice trailed off as his figure vanished again, reappearing on the other side.

At the same moment, a sharp earth spike suddenly struck Rocks from the ground beneath his feet. Before Rocks could react, it pierced his abdomen with a thud, sending blood gushing out. Rocks' face paled, and his reflexes dropped significantly.

Mio and Yasan, already prepared, seized the opportunity and, without hesitation, charged at Rocks.

A piercing sound echoed through the air.

Mio and Yasan, both with clenched fists, appeared beside Rocks from different directions, each punching out with immense destructive force.

Two punches, from different directions, struck Rocks' head.

Instantly, the destructive force erupted.

"Ahhh!" Rocks screamed, a shrill cry of agony. Blood gushed from his mouth, and blood flowed from his eye sockets, nostrils, and even ears. Rocks' mind began to daze from the blow.

The powerful destructive force was too much for even Rocks to bear.

"Kill!" Mio shouted in a deep voice. He would not miss such a good opportunity to kill Rocks. His hands did not slow down at all, and he punched again, unleashing the power of the Influence Fruit.

Wind blades suddenly condensed around Rocks, colliding with Mio's punch.

"It's over," Yasan roared, punching Rocks in the head.

Rocks, dazed, instinctively tried to resist, but his movements were much slower than before, and he couldn't even keep up with Mio and Yasan's speed.

Even the wind blades, which he could have easily dodged, were now difficult to avoid.

Puff. Puff. Puff.

Wounds from the wind blades appeared on Rocks' body.

Mio and Yasan launched another powerful attack.

Boom.

A terrifying aftermath erupted, shaking the surroundings.

Mio's fist was covered in blood.

As the aftermath faded, Mio withdrew his fist, his eyes beginning to lighten with excitement.

Before Mio, Rocks, now standing, saw the life in his eyes fade. His proud figure slowly fell backwards, collapsing with a thud. His body gradually grew colder, becoming a corpse.

Rocks… was dead.

Under Mio and Yasan's relentless coordinated attack, even Rocks could not resist.

Im was dead.

Rocks, now dead too.

Besides Mio and Yasan, the only two world-class masters in the world had fallen at Mio's hands.

Mio could even see the system prompt panel appear before him.

[Congratulations on including 'Pirate (Copy Gene)'!]

Perhaps Mio would have been excited about this gene in the past, but now he wasn't so concerned.

With a thud, Mio sat down on the ground, grinning. "Hei Yan!"

"Here, sir, it's all ready." Hei Yan smiled as he casually picked up the wine gourd hanging from his waist and tossed it towards Mio.

Mio uncorked the gourd and took a deep gulp of the liquor.

As the wine spilled from the corners of his mouth, Mio wiped it and said in a deep voice, "Surrender!"

"Surrender, and you won't be killed!"

"Otherwise…"

"Leave no one alive!"

The voice was not loud, but it echoed throughout Marijoa.

The war suddenly ceased.

The members of the World Government looked towards Mio with fear in their eyes, hesitant and at a loss for what to do.

Monkey D. Dragon, and Kaido all looked at Mio with complicated expressions.

They seemed to have never expected Mio to be able to kill Im and Rocks.

Even they had a hint of disbelief in their eyes.

Silence fell over Marijoa for a moment.

But the next moment—

"Damn it! Stop dreaming! You're just a lowly creature. You can't possibly expect us to surrender!" roared one of the Four Elders fighting Asuka. Even though he was grievously wounded, he still held his pride.

"Kill! Kill all these damn pirates!"

"How could this rubbish make us surrender?"

"The World Government will never collapse, even if you kill Lord Im!" roared the four severely wounded Four Elders.

Upon hearing this, Mio's lips curled up into a cold smile. "Is that so…"

With that, Mio raised his right hand and waved it gently. "Then kill him."

"Hey, okay." Yasan smiled excitedly, nodded gently, and vanished from the spot.

The next moment, he appeared behind one of the Four Elders, reached out, grabbed the man's head, and lifted him abruptly into the air. No matter how he struggled, Yasan remained motionless.

Then, a bloodthirsty smile appeared on Yasan's face, and he said in a deep voice, "Since you don't want to surrender, then die."

Boom.

A terrifying force suddenly erupted.

Then, the head of the Elder could be seen. Grasped in Yasan's hands and unleashed with such immense force, it shattered like a watermelon.

Blood splattered everywhere.

Mary Geoise was once again plunged into absolute silence.

Clank. Clank.

Upon seeing a member of the Four Elders die, each World Government member, as if conscious, dropped their weapons and raised their hands without hesitation, signaling their surrender.

They didn't care much about Im's death, as they didn't fully understand his identity.

But the one-sided battle itself had driven them to despair.

The sight of one of the Five Elders, the supreme ruler of the World Government, having his head crushed, had completely shattered their will to fight.

"Surrender… surrender," Sora said, clutching the wound where Kaido had violently torn off his arm. His face pale, Sora gritted his teeth, a complex mix of emotions as he finally spoke.

As he finished speaking, he seemed to have lost his energy, looking even older than before, and sat down on the ground, speechless.

However, Sora's words spurred more and more people to surrender, dropping their weapons and crouching on the ground with their hands raised above their heads.

"It's over," Judge said in a deep voice, his voice filled with eager excitement and fervor.

Mary Geoise – Exits

On the sea, a ship slowly approached. A gentle man stood on the deck, holding the Den Den Mushi that had just been hung up, and smiled.

"It's almost over, so let's… go up."

"Yes, Mr. Vegapunk."
